The overnight employee is terrible. Waited 5 minutes at the window while being harassed by a homeless guy. The jackass working saw me walking towards the window and hid in the closet next to the pop coolers. I wish I could rate 0 stars, but apparently that’s not a choice

Pump 5 apparently has a problem with freezing frequently. I went inside to get help and the employee with pink hair just stared at her phone while texting and said "What do you want?" Worst gas station experience, do not recommend, will not return. Management should look into the complaints on here.

The renovated car wash is great and more convenient! The choice for hot water wash is great too!

Shelves messy, employees still stubbornly refuse to wear masks, clear that they are not interested in doing more than the absolute minimum. Even by gas station standards this place is the worst!

Wow. Just wow. Why is it so f****** hard to get your car washed in Shittsburgh? And it's such a dirty town. There's always a layer of dust on my car. When I found this car wash and gas station I honestly felt so lucky after searching around everywhere. But the dudes who work behind the counter are so rude. I've had three really bad encounters with them over three years. I come in with a smile and immediately there's 'tude. Usually it has to do with a pump not working or the car wash not working or me not being able to read the numbers on the receipt for the car wash code. (Are those sevens or nines?) And every time IT'S A BIG F****** DEAL for them to acknowledge me and try to help. I always feel like they just hate their lives. Well frankly I hate them. They're useless jerks who need to go. I wish I could find another car wash but I can't. So I'm stuck with these losers. And they're stuck with me. The last time I had to come in with an issue about wanting to buy a car wash after I gassed my car (my goof) they wouldn't even let me finish my question. The younger j*** said "well maybe if you stand there long enough we can give you an answer." The old j*** was there too and didn't try to help. I gave up and left after saying "Goodbye WINNERS." I will not tolerated being treated like s**** I wonder if the owner of the station knows how much business he's losing. I'll bet you there's probably a lot of women who want to stop for gas but don't want to end their already suck a** workdays by dealing with these losers. So they drive on by. Get better people Shell. It's in a great location and it deserves better service. Also, why are there photos of hairy men bellies in the pictures? GROSS!

I think that every time I'm in this store the guy so many bad reviews are about are full of it. He's a service man for heavens sake, serve your country and then complain but he's always kind and friendly to me. Makes me wish he and I were friends, he seems great and store always clean and I say to haters, show some dang respect I'll still would like one day to be friendly but I'm in Shadyside and not in often. Find me at randocam@ anywhere. God bless. Happy Christmas and holidays. You're a cool dude!

A worker just came out and complained about us throwing trash in one bin maybe if he had a better attitude he would have a better job. If you know customer service you know not to complain to a customer I'll never pump gas here again

I have heard bad things about this location from several friends and had steered clear of it for a long, long time. However I found myself in need of gas and this was the closest station. Pulling up to the pump was an easy task, but that was about it. When I got out to pump my gas that when I wished I had gone elsewhere. I do my thing with swiping my card and waiting for it to process, once I get the green light, I proceed. Unscrew my gas cap and then grab the pump handle. Welp, then that's when my hand becomes covered in gas. Yep, you read that right, gas was on the pump handle. How it got there, I do not know. Why it was there, I do not know. But it was there. Do you know how hard it is to get the smell of gas off your hands? Yeah, I'm sure you do, I immediately got a paper towel from the dispenser and wiped my hands down and then the pump handle itself. Didn't matter, I went the rest of the day with a hand smelling of gas. Not the best smell you want to take with you to work. It is safe to say that I will not be returning here anytime soon.

Well located 24 hour service station with automated car wash. The car wash only takes cash in $1, $5, and $10 denominations. That's problematic if you don't carry the right cash. The wash is pretty good, although it missed a few spots. I really like the extended hours and great location.

Pumped my gas and self paid outside. Went into the store to buy a drink... Returned to find gas dripping onto the ground and shooting out of my tank! The pump overcharged me ten dollars.
