Love this new Salem’s Market. It’s a leveled up version! Bigger place, bigger parking lot, more variety of goods. In addition, it’s clean and the staffs are very friendly!

Congratulations on the new place! May Allah bless you. I was glad to hear Salem's Market was moving to a larger location. I hoped for more halal food and Arabic products. However, upon visiting, I was disappointed. It felt more like a Giant Eagle with fewer Arabic food options. They didn't even have Arabic coffee! There were only a few good Arabic products less than as it was before, and the vibe was completely different from what it used to be. Many of us used to love Salem's for its Arabic atmosphere and the comforting smell of home it provided. Now it's just a regular market store.I hope they bring back what made it special and even better. I hope Allah may bless you with barakah in every step you take.

Congratulations for the new place , we enjoyed our shopping today. The stuff is amazing one of the employees helped me to find special tea was looking for. The meat is fresh very reasonable price . From now one trip to Salem is enough to do my grocery shopping. One of the meat department employees was so kind to my son , so he enjoyed the experience. Thank you guys and keep it up .

Salim's Market emerges as a vital lifeline in the heart of the Hill District, a community grappling with the harsh reality of being a food desert. Nestled amidst the scarcity of food options, Salim's stands tall as an oasis, offering a diverse array of groceries to its residents. This establishment addresses a critical need, countering the prevalence of overcharging and the unsettling practice of selling items sourced from local food banks—a practice that sadly plagues many convenience stores in the vicinity, perpetuating the cycle of hardship for the already marginalized.Stepping into Salim's Market is akin to stepping into a haven. The ambiance is refreshing—a testament to the meticulous attention paid to cleanliness and space. It's not merely a store; it's a promise of sustenance and dignity for a community long deprived of both. While Salim's is still in its nascent stage, there's a palpable sense of potential, a promise of growth and evolution that mirrors the resilience of the community it serves. However, amidst the accolades, there lies a shadow of concern—a lingering unease born out of an observation made during a recent visit. It's disconcerting to note the apparent surplus of surveillance within the premises. While vigilance is necessary to ensure security and prevent losses, the extent of monitoring raises questions about privacy and trust. The presence of individuals masquerading as customers but covertly surveilling shoppers adds a layer of discomfort, detracting from the otherwise welcoming atmosphere.Despite this, it's essential to contextualize Salim's Market within the broader narrative of community empowerment. Its existence signifies progress—a beacon of hope illuminating the path towards a more equitable future. While it may fall short of a perfect rating due to legitimate concerns, its significance transcends mere numerical evaluations. Salim's Market is not just a store; it's a symbol of resilience, solidarity, and the enduring spirit of a community determined to thrive against all odds.

I was expecting this new Salem's to be a lot more like the one in the Strip. It's more of a full service grocery, although it still has some harder to find International items. The rice aisle is stunning, with lots of great choices, especially for bulk. There's a bakery, butcher, produce section, and even some ITC medicine. The staff is very friendly and the store is well organized. Prices are great, and there's plenty of free parking.
