no number to call and talk to anybody. there was a maniac in a safelite truck cursing me out and swerving on the road. he didn’t use his turn signals so i beeped at him. the driver quickly went into the opposite lane to be next to me to yell at me. i drove away after he caused traffic to stop by being in both lanes. he followed me for a while until he stopped. nobody to complain to or tell about this incident. customer service is always just and the in store options are all automated

They do their best to make things right, even if they can’t cover you under warranty. I was in an unfortunate situation and Melinda helped me out big time. I would recommend this business.

Whatever you do, please don't take your vehicle to the Safelite on Frankstown Road in Penn Hills, PA. Brent and his crew replaced the rear window on my vehicle on Friday and on Monday, the rear wiper wasn't working, now it's on me to pay for the repair. Called customer service to complain and they connected me right to the store to handle my complaint. Poor customer service. Avoid the headache, damage and hassle. Please learn from my mistake. Don't go to Safelite in Penn Hills for repairs.

Be prepared for unprofesional location.
I brought in my vehicle for windshield replacement and the associate informed me he had to bend the molding to remove my windshield because the last owner glued it down.
I informed him to look up the VIN as I bought my car brand new and the windshield had never been replaced.
Then, he offered to glue the molding he had mangled back onto my vehicle.
The associate should have used exacto blade or other technique to gently remove molding before replacing windshield, not hack it off.
There are other quality alternatives out there:

I can't say enough about the ease of working with this company. Every aspect, from scheduling to them verifying insurance coverage, to completion was perfect. I had to go to the shop due to my car having a heads up display which would need to be calibrated, but it was only 2 hours and Tony did his job with precision. Excellent company to work with.

Safelite did a great job of replacing our windshield. I was a bit leary about all the accessories that goes thru the windshield but they performed all the right procedures to complete the installation.

Complete rip off. They gave me a quote with insurance of $1000 (apparently my deductible) without offering me a cash price. Took it elsewhere, got the replacement same day for $285. Watch out for shady billing at this place and call around. Trust me.

IT TOOK 4 APPOINTMENTS TO GET MY WINDSHIELD DONE CORRECTLY AND I HAD TO GO TO A DEALER 1 TIME TOO- WHY? BECAUSE THEY NEVER CONNECTED ANY WIRING SO THEY COULDNT CALIBRATE AND THE HEATING ELEMENTS DID NOT WORK. CONTACTED CORPORATE TWICE - NEVER HEARD BACK.

I wish I hadn't needed my window replaced, but they made it as easy and fast as possible. Check online for coupons; I found an $80 off. Free coffee, free Wi-Fi, nice little spot to wait. They told me up to 90 min, but I was in and out in about 30.
