How is it that both employees were talking on their phones at the same time? If prices are going to be so much higher than they are online, I expect friendly and helpful service, not a cacophony of speaker-phones and brusque, one-word responses.

Store was dark, dirty, and eerily quiet. Man at front desk followed us around as if we were going to steal, aggressively told us not to touch anything, and followed us around trying to sell us random junk. Service was terrible, selection was worse. Also expensive as hell. Would never recommend to anyone.

I was not impressed, The sign in the bathroom was not appropriate for a toy store. I understand their frustration but word it differently or better yet Fix the plumbing. Also when we asked to use the bathroom they said it was for paying customers only like we weren't going to get something. It wasn't very welcoming and the employee kept pushing toys on us that my son was not interested in. The employees need to go to the toy store up in Butler county that's shaped like a spaceship and learn how to run a toy store.

I have been notified in writing, when I last visited the location over 5 years ago and had no issues, that I have been banned due to "overuse" of a medication prescribed by my doctor before and after events at the location. They even lied straight through Facebook messenger and alleged I used this medication at one of their events. You would think the police would have been called if there was illegal behavior occurring on the premises, but in reality, they weigh packs and sell to individuals. I have witnessed this with my own two eyes. The "ban" which was actually put in place by a disgruntled employee who we'll call "Nell". I asked Nell, personally and over text message, YEARS (maybe 5+) ago to sell some of my cards at an event I could not attend. He refused. I never used foul language, never threatened anybody, never hurt anyone and pretty much kept to myself at these Pokémon events. Then I get a message, when wanting to bring a 14 year old boy to the events, I was then told by someone else who I don't even know that I've been "banned" from the premises when I was NEVER told that even at my last visit years ago. Highly suggest avoiding this location as they discriminate based on what medications you take at your own home, have bitter and angry employees that behave like children and then also weigh packs and sell the crap ones to kids. At least I found a way to appeal to the government with an ADA violation as they were foolish enough to send me a message saying it was the reason for me being banned. Have cancer? You're not welcome at S.W Randall

Kid behind the counter asked me if I was smuggling drugs in my car. Yes, in a toy store. Yes, I'm serious. Yes, I left shortly after. Why are people like this?

A wonderful place! It is a true classic downtown toy store. Not a big box store. There are things for sale here than can not be found elsewhere. If you need a dose of Christmas, go to the Department 56 satrap next to the steps.

There is something magical about walking into a toy store, it just takes you back and makes you act like a child. I don't know what it is that makes us forget that this is a normal feeling to have. You are allowed to have a toy, god knows I have several mementos I have held onto that remind me of simpler times. I came in here kind of on a whim. I almost forgot that this was here. I was out picking up items for a gift I was putting together and decided that maybe stopping in here would offer me a chance to find a few more items that would tie it all together. It was odd. I walked in here and before I could get my bearings I had someone literally pop up out of nowhere to ask if I needed help. I told them that I was looking for items for a gift and when they asked me the age range they didn't bat an eye. Especially since it was for someone well into their thirties. "Upstairs." They weren't wrong, upstairs was like a walk down memory lane. I browsed through all the toys that are considered vintage now that were brand new when I was young...when did I get to this point? I browsed and browsed and browsed until I almost forgot why I was here, I wanted to buy things for myself. The one thing that could use a little work is that they might want to quicken up the check out process. There was only one other customer in here besides me and it took forever at the register.

Owner was rude. And they kept following me around like I was going to steal something. I will never go back.

A magical place to play with toys. Skip the online and buy local.
