I come here all the time because I have an unhealthy addiction to making my tbr cart way too full and the staff is super friendly and they have a good selection of books. I love cards unlimited in shadyside as well but I tend to always come here more because the selection is always bigger and I walk out with a new book 90% of the time I visit. They have stuff made my local artists, notepads, cards, etc as well so it’s a good place to stop for gifts too

We went for a book signing. It’s a well rounded bookstore has just about everything. If they don’t have they can get it for you. It’s located in a nice walking area.

Great book store with large selection of fiction/non-fiction, biographies, cookbooks, children's books and teenage literature. Little selection of graphic novels. It is PACKED with books and toys in the children's selection and makes it a lot of fun to look around. They also have a nice area with books written by Pittsburgh authors!

Amazing bookstore. As a lover of literature I go to a new bookstore twice a year and get my reading for the next six months. I stumbled across this lovely shop unexpectedly. It was a busy Saturday. The workers in the shop were very helpful when I asked for recommendations on new horror and mystery novels. Having little impulse control, I bought over $100 in books to last me the rest of the year. The workers were well-read and very polite. They each have a recommendation or two and every book looks amazing. As I lay in my bed typing this, ill from overexertion, I read the first book they recommended : We Have Always Lived in the Castle.

I really loved the set up of this store. Felt almost like walking through someone's personal collection. I also loved the staff reviews, helpful to discover new books. I am currently on a book purchasing ban (my to read pile is insane) but once I let myself out of book jail I'll be back!

I love Riverstone. The selection is awesome. There's a big emphasis on queer and bbi authors and stories. The staff is wonderful and always have great recommendations-- at least one of them were previously librarians and they're seriously excited to help you find what you're looking for. They will also figure out how to order just about any book you're looking for. Definitely my favorite spot in the city right now. I do hope they add a ramp to the scifi section, though. They're so close to being fully wheelchair accessible!

Visited while in town for a reunion and picked up several books. And although small, pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of a romance section. Super cute store. Looking forward to reading the books I purchased!

Bigger location just down the street from where they were. So bright and cozy! They will order any books they don't have in stock too! Stationary, bookmarks, and doggy friendly ??
