This is the worst Rite Aid we have been to. My wife came to pick up her meds and only had 3. A pharm tech told her “you have too many meds.”Like, excuse me? 3 is not too many and it’s none of your business.Another time a student pharm tech handed me her medicine without ringing her up or verifying. It was very bizarre.We go to Giant Eagle now

I’ve always trusted Rite Aid but if you want to use this location just don’t! I’ve been trying to get my new prescription filled by the phone for over 2 hours. They put in a loop of automatic messages, or put you immediately on hold and never come back or hang up! I am unable to drive due to an operation so driving down there by myself wouldn’t even be in my cards. But from previous reviews it looks like that’s not much better. They should be ashamed of the poor professionalism and service they provide to people who NEED them for a better quality of life! Will not be continuing to use this pharmacy.

So happy to see Rite Aid has seemingly filled positions in the pharmacy. My recent attempts to fill scripts were much easier than in past! Also associate at front register was helpful in explaining bonus cash rules to a customer, nice to see that. Thanks to those workers who put in long hours with complex issues we customers have.

The driver never left my order with me he set it down on the first floor and walked away! I live on the second floor someone stole my order!!!!!!!!

This store is always clean, orderly, especially well managed, and has the best pharmacy I have ever patronized in the Pittsburgh area. As someone who is self employed and has to purchase their own health insurance rather than getting it through an employer, I often face a lot of hurdles in getting the medications that I need covered through my insurance or having cost defrayed with a coupon card from the manufacturer. I am my own HR rep, which is time consuming. This creates a lot more work for the pharmacy staff, but they really go above and beyond to find a way to make it work. Pharmacists Anita and Amy in particular have been a huge help to me in navigating the complexities of the insurance company and the insurance and outs of the pharmacy's computer system. At a time when everyone is under staffed and overtaxed in the healthcare system, they have never lost their patience with me or other customers and still work dilagently on my behalf.

This Rite Aid location has the most helpful and knowledgeable pharmacy staff I have ever encountered anywhere. No matter what question I have about my medication, my insurance coverage, or even things I wouldn't think to ask, they'd go find the answers and they do it quickly and efficiently. If they don't have the answers, they let me know, and I have always heard back within one business day with the answer or solution. The store itself always seems to be well staffed, kept clean and organized, and I recognize a lot of the employees when I walk in as they have all worked there a long time. They are knowledgeable about the store.

I see this is a consistent issue from the reviews…The store is nice, but my experiences with the pharmacy are horrible. I call and call and no one picks up to get my prescription order and the wait for assistance is insane… like now, I’m on hold (somehow got thru after 5 calls) and have been waiting in the drive thru for 30 minutes with no movement!! And the wait continues …

The customer service in the pharmacy is TERRIBLE at the Forest Hills location! I consistently have upwards of a 30min wait for refills even if I call hrs in advance. In addition, there's no expressed empathy or apology for extended wait times and/or missed orders. Anyone can understand a store being busy or short staffed but apologizing for your patients experience shows you care. I also recommend informing your customers about any digital ordering options, that may be more convenient.

This has been my Rite Aid store and pharmacy since 1974. It is close to where I live and very convenient. The problem the past year has been customer service, the drive-through, and the pharmacy. I try to call the pharmacy and it just rings and rings and then it goes back to the recorded message. I hit 3 again and it rings and rings and rings and nobody ever picks up. If you call a prescription in the day before and ask for to be ready the next day and you arrive down there and it's not even filled yet. I don't understand this, there's no excuse for it. Don't even try to go to the drive-through. The drive-through line is so backed up it's ridiculous. Who ever they put at the drive thru window is clueless and moves so slowly. You tell them your name and what you're there to pick up and you just see them walking back-and-forth in the pharmacy area for about 10 minutes not doing anything. This needs to improve. If you decide to go into the store to cut back on time and you're in line and it's your turn to be waited on, you give them your name and you are told your prescription is not filled yet. I don't understand this. It's like nobody cares down there. It's very frustrating.

Absolutely no offense to the people working there, but something is systemically wrong when you can't process an order in 48 hours. They didn't even start until I showed up, and I had to wait half an hour. Last time I will be coming here, for sure!
