I have dealing with this store for many years and have never had a problem until now.
I am 81 years old and disabled. I have a very hard time finding someone to pick up prescriptions for me. My daughter, who lives in Murrysville, has a hard time coming here just to get my meds for me. And now with Route 22 being all torn up and she has to take a detour, it can take her sometimes 45-50 minutes to get here.
It would help immensely if this pharmacy delivered.

Do not waste your time with this pharmacy they will screw up your prescriptions and they will refuse to help you. I already had a prior authorization somehow it got lost when I transferred to this pharmacy I had to get a new one and I'm literally looking at a letter saying it was approved and they are still insisting that it wasn't and refusing to help me and keep hanging up on me instead of giving me the medication that I need that I already have the authorization for. They will not listen to the fact that I have a letter in my hand and that there has to be something wrong with their computer I never had a problem until I tried to switch to here and now that I got it done again and I'm holding the letter you still insist that it's not done so clearly it's your computer but nobody will help me and make sure I have the medication that I need & am approved for

They provide great pharmacy service. The people in the pharmacy seem human and not robotic like other pharmacies employees do.

I am always impressed with the friendly and helpful staff at the Rite Aid on Ardmore Boulevard. The pharmacy is extremely well run and even when they are very busy, the staff and pharmacist remain patient and pleasant. The store is well stocked, clean and organized, but the staff is my favorite aspect of visiting Rite Aid on Ardmore. They are all true assets to the Rite Aid brand.

Bad customer service and poorly managed. Management was rude and not helpful at all. It needs to close because of going bankrupt.

This is the worst Rite Aid we have been to. My wife came to pick up her meds and only had 3. A pharm tech told her “you have too many meds.”Like, excuse me? 3 is not too many and it’s none of your business.Another time a student pharm tech handed me her medicine without ringing her up or verifying. It was very bizarre.We go to Giant Eagle now

I’ve always trusted Rite Aid but if you want to use this location just don’t! I’ve been trying to get my new prescription filled by the phone for over 2 hours. They put in a loop of automatic messages, or put you immediately on hold and never come back or hang up! I am unable to drive due to an operation so driving down there by myself wouldn’t even be in my cards. But from previous reviews it looks like that’s not much better. They should be ashamed of the poor professionalism and service they provide to people who NEED them for a better quality of life! Will not be continuing to use this pharmacy.

So happy to see Rite Aid has seemingly filled positions in the pharmacy. My recent attempts to fill scripts were much easier than in past! Also associate at front register was helpful in explaining bonus cash rules to a customer, nice to see that. Thanks to those workers who put in long hours with complex issues we customers have.

This store is always clean, orderly, especially well managed, and has the best pharmacy I have ever patronized in the Pittsburgh area. As someone who is self employed and has to purchase their own health insurance rather than getting it through an employer, I often face a lot of hurdles in getting the medications that I need covered through my insurance or having cost defrayed with a coupon card from the manufacturer. I am my own HR rep, which is time consuming. This creates a lot more work for the pharmacy staff, but they really go above and beyond to find a way to make it work. Pharmacists Anita and Amy in particular have been a huge help to me in navigating the complexities of the insurance company and the insurance and outs of the pharmacy's computer system. At a time when everyone is under staffed and overtaxed in the healthcare system, they have never lost their patience with me or other customers and still work dilagently on my behalf.
