When Eckerd and Rite Aid merged, I had a bunch of Rite Aids near my home.A year or so ago, my Rite Aid was closed and I moved to one of the other close Rite Aids. This one is a stand alone with a drive through.The personalization just isn't there. They make the same mistakes with my name and even when I call, they don't see it. This doesn't include the pharmacist who has post it notes about the issue all over, but it still happens.

How about the boomers writing these bad reviews. Had to call in my prescription and no one answered? The RX refill line is AUTOMATED! Don't be a dinosaur and blame Rite Aid for your ineptitude. They closed 15 minutes early and that's worth a 1-star review? Blame your elected leaders for high gas prices, not the hardworking Rite Aid employees. This location is awesome. Pharmacists are great, other employees are great, nice clean restrooms and store floor. Quit being selfish because your own life sucks, all of you that are leaving 1 star reviews....

I had a terrible experience at Rite Aid last night. Despite have a confirmation and scheduled flu appointment, I was told by the pharmacist, Kate Petty, that I could not receive the flu vaccine. She admitted it was probably a "glitch" in their system, but she couldn't honor the appoinment because it would be wasting a flu vaccine. She was very dismissive and unprofessional. I have shopped at this Rite Aid for many years and filled prescriptions there. I will no longer use this facility.

I have been a customer of the Bower Hill Road Rute Aid for 35 years..the customer service has ALWAYS been excellent, and some associates address me by name, giving me a comfort zone so close to home

Posted hours are Monday-Saturday 8:00AM - 10:00PM. I went last night, arrived at 9:45, and they were already closed. This is now the second time that I've gone there within there posted hours of business only to find them to be closed. I even called, and the recording verified the above hours for which I mentioned. There wasn't any note posted or anything that indicated any reason for being closed early. Especially given the price of gas, I do not appreciate wasting both my time and fuel. Rite Aid needs to do better, or find someone that can and will.

I have been trying for 3 days now to call in my prescriptions, but no one answers the phone. I don't have my prescription numbers, what do I do? I will tell you what I do....I order my prescriptions from a pharmacy that actually cares about the health and well being of its customers....one that actually answers their pharmacy phone. It's like we are living in the TWILIGHT ZONE, where companies just decide not to answer their phones anymore. (Rite Aid, 1121 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15243)

I do not recommend getting a covid test there. the testing process was awesome! the results are another story. 5 of us were exposed... 2cwent to CVS, 1 went to urgent care and 1 went to their pediatrician. the other 4 people that did not go to rite aid got their results in under 30 hours. ride aid said they are behind because of a spike in testing. however wouldn't CVS, urgent care and the pediatrician have a spike as well???? these are stressful times. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get timely results.

I have been using this pharmacy for about 8 years. I have had many health issues during these years and the pharmacists Megan and Kate and the tech Alyssa have been the most amazing team taking care of my pharmacy needs. They are so caring, they go out of their way to help with whatever they possibly can, they treat me and my husband who has to pick up a lot of my prescriptions for me when I'm not feeling well, with such respect and kindness. I have referred many people to “my pharmacy†just because of this amazing pharmacy team. I feel so lucky to have them. I hope they never leave. Lol.
