Large supply of Mexican food products, but we bought candies for a piñata here and it turns out they’re expired.

Expensive. Kool. Used to make tortillas in house all the time. Haven't seen that in ages. Good deal on bulk

If this review were based solely on the product, it would be at least four stars. However, I cannot overlook the unfriendliness of one repeat offender. On one occasion, my significant other and I were in there to buy a bag of their freshly-made flour tortillas, and they were out. The workers who make the tortillas had a bunch made for a big order, and told us we could have one of the bags, as they could just make another batch to replace the bag they were giving us. The young woman, who I assume is either the manager or the owner, overhears what’s going on and more or less yells at them in front of us, “THAT’S A BIG ORDER. YOU BETTER BE ABLE TO MAKE NEW ONES BY THE TIME THEY COME IN TO PICK THEM UP.” First off, you don’t yell at your workers in front of customers. Second off, way to (not) try to accommodate said customers. Nevertheless, we thanked the workers, purchased the tortillas, and left.On my most recent trip there, I was perusing the drink cooler. That same owner/manager woman, who had not even remotely been near the cooler as she was ringing customers up at the register, all of a sudden rolls over a cart of drinks and goes, in a very low key tone, “trying to put some stuff in there.” Why would you nudge someone out of the way when they’re going to buy something from you? Also, there is a much more tactful way of doing so. But I didn’t even get a smile or a “excuse me.” Basically was told to get out of her way, when I was nowhere nearly in her way to begin with. I still made my purchases but I was very sure with my body language and tone with her at the register to let her know I didn’t appreciate her lack of tact.I know this place has a great reputation, because it churns out some very good product. But if this is how customers can expect their experience to be, I want no part of patronizing this business any further.

Im highly disappointed. I wanted to give them some business. I called so I wouldn’t have to make the trip there, I was put on hold for over 6 mins and she never came back to the phone. All I heard was conversation with the customers which is fine but you completely forgot about getting back to the potential customer on the phone. Guess I’ll give the Mexican store in Oakland my money. Do better!!

I used to come and shop regularly but I am done with the terrible customer service. I am currently still on hold after 12 minutes. Someone answered the phone, asked that I hold, and it’s been almost 13 minutes where I get to listen to this woman have conversations. I had one simple question and that couldn’t be dealt with so instead I get to listen to her. Please patronize Las Palmas or Veracruz or even drive out to Coraopolos to La poblanita. Gone are the days when this used to be a great place.

Travelled far just to go to this place and what a disappointment. I had high hopes but it falls short. Firstly, I truly believe it is unacceptable to witness a women getting a hair cut in the store and in the vicinity of the large tortilla equipment that is clearly used to prepare food. I was not getting prepared food so I picked up what I needed since I was making Tamales for Thanksgiving only to discover after making them the Tamales Masa was expired. Not just expired but expired by 5 months. To far to return the 1 unused and the little I had left from the other bag. This place had the foods and brands I wanted and needed that I cant seem to find elsewhere but I won't be back.

I called just to ask some questions about their tortillas and the lady that answered was so rude. Never have been there and won’t be going there sadly

be careful with the products that you buy from here. check them - I bought a pack of red beans from here and a few days later i went to check in my pantry and the bag was full of bugs. upon doing a google pic search I found that it was bean weevel big and it was inside the bag of red beans I got at this place. Never again!

Their spicy black bean dip, oh my godddd! I literally bought two tubs last time I went in. I also bought 4 bags of tortilla chips because they are that good. The person ringing me up asked if I'm having a party and I said nope, all for me. Party of one. No shame! We laughed about self care days and sipping margaritas with a face mask on. She was super friendly and awesome. Anyway, I love this place and will go back every time I visit the Strip! Gotta get me them chips and dips!!

This place had the largest selection of hot sauces I've ever seen. Very friendly staff. Fresh, on-site made tortillas, and a variety of house made foods. Only thing missing for me personally was fresh hot foods to go.
