The Point Breeze Veterinary Clinic opened up a second location simply for healthy pets' visits. (Genius! Why do people doctors not do this, or at least offer a separate waiting room?) It's not big but feels airy thanks to high ceilings and big windows. The exam rooms are roomy enough and really clean. When we visited this week for Rosa's annual check-up, there was the vet, the vet tech, a girl considering applying to vet school, and me in the room, and it didn't feel crowded at all. Everyone here was super friendly, from the receptionist to the vet. They listened to all my minor concerns and checked everything out. They let Rosa run around and sniff everything (no other pets were there at the moment). I think we spent more time talking about how we got her than we did in the exam room. And the cost was right - only $52. This is a convenient location for Squirrel Hill, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
