If you enjoy any type of making or crafting or decorating, this place is AWESOME. It's basically a thrift store for creativity! You can save SOOOOOOO much money by going here for supplies. It's a great place to pick up inexpensive supplies for any craft or project you can imagine. They always have something different and fun!!!

Tons of art and craft supplies, decor, & some vintage items. Lots of things to look at and you can easily spend more than an hour looking around. Everything is pretty cheap and you can get a lot in bulk. You can also make donations. Staff are nice and willing to help or answer any questions you have.

Absolutely wonderful. Very fun eclectic shopping location. The prices are very good. I come from out of town once a year and make sure to come here every time.

Everything you didn’t know you needed to make art. Affordable prices and surprisingly well organized for the number of absurdly random items they have.

Love making stuff out of junk? This is the place. Mask required, but also provided.

Though I live an hour away, after seeing the PCFCR on TikTok yesterday I decided to head down after an appointment - I was immediately blown away with the incredible amount of supplies and kindness from the staff, I (without intending to) spent four hours in the shop and despite leaving with nearly 30 lbs of art supplies (everything from oil pastels and prismacolors to vintage crafting magazines and a clay pigeon) I only managed to spend $80, I'm not one to post reviews often but the combined kindness of the staff that went out of their way to answer questions/assistance & even help me carry out the box made it worth it.

Don’t bother trying to donate…. They do not return your calls. We have several boxes and cannot drive there wasting our gas with one box at a time

I’ve had a bad experience the last three times I’ve gone in. The first time I saw target dollar items marked 3; and it was selling at the reuse for 4. Then I got Christmas lights that were dangerous, unusable, and marked as usable. The last and final time I’ll go-I tried to buy a pad of paper that was marked originally as 15.50; the cashier said, “I have to price match it against a product that is still selling (in stores) now.” So she wanted to charge me 5 dollars for a product (that is obsolete) even more than the original price…she explained she wanted to price check it against something with a higher price??? The reuse center is shady and I have gone for ten years. If I’m going to be upcharged I’m just going to get art supplies from a store where I know the price is stabilized, and the products are quality checked and aren’t hazardous.

The staff are so helpful, the materials fairly priced and there are often volunteers showing their work, their passions and creativity and giving of their time to this community gem. I bought gift certificates for my kids' friends there instead of buying new stuff that'll likely be soon broken, lost and need to be thrown out. For a 20th of the price of buying materials new, I was able to buy paint and accessories for our Halloween costumes. Recently I got some things for Christmas crafts and other bits and bobs to fill in our craft area. Staplers for a fraction of new, and boxes of new staples. Maybe best of all, masking is still required, so this lessened our risk of catching (or spreading had we been in early stages and not know it) of the flu, covid or the school cold de jour when visiting. This keeps the employees, shoppers and volunteers safe. Lastly, the workers know their stock and find out if not. They don't guess or give vague answers. So often I've called and received helpful answers which brought me in the next day. Choose local and choose Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse over a dollar store or Bezos' billions everyday. If you're unable to shop, they also have many things on line and curb pick-up as an option!!!!

I would love to support this organization but their donation policies are not business friendly. I had a large number of good pieces of fabrics that they could use but they make it hard to donate.

A business that’s clearly an undertaking of love! Shopping there and donating there are both delightful experiences.

Great, organized, stable shelving ada complaint but I can tell you the stuff at the ends were not. My seated walker constantly got wheels stuck for a jolt as I tried to get into aisles. My body wasn't happy with the place but lots of fun stuff 2 filled bags for $22. Put a video on TikTok as zombieagogo
