“So glad I found Asgard! My girls has been on raw diet since puppy and we just moved here. I have to put her on other food for traveling and she’s having soft stools since we arrive. I switched her back on raw right after I received my first order and she had the PERFECT P*** the next day and days after! Food look good quality, very fresh and price is great compare with other brands.”

“Pretty Birds is the ONLY place I will EVER go for bird grooming. I have 2 parrots, an African Grey and a Yellow Naped Amazon. "My birds bite," I said. And in response, Don handled them like they were old friends! No biting, he even shaved their beaks and they didn't even cry! Don has love and compassion for birds and their humans. I learned more from him than anyone in all my years of having parrots! Pretty Birds is a Bird Boarder. Be sure to make an appointment for your bird's grooming needs.”
“My one beagle had digestive issues and regular diarrhea on his last food. When I switched him to Pet Wants, not only did his digestive issues clear up, but both of my dogs dance for their dinner now! Amber and her staff are always friendly and helpful.”

“This shop has multiple very friendly workers and an amazing variety of organic and healthy treat options for dogs as well as cats! The biggest thing I love about this shop is that they have a ton of toys safe for dogs who are chewers that aren't $20-$40. They also offer food samples if you're looking to switch brands.”
“I may be biased as I am married to Ryan, and we have known Brad for many many years, but I love this little store! Even if I didn't know them, I'm sure by the end of a first visit I would. They are both knowledgeable in many different animal care aspects. They have high quality foods, toys, litter (I want to cry when they are out of my favorite one!), treats, and more. Make sure to stop in and say hi! You may even get to see one of the visiting foster cats up for adoption!”
“My 8# Yorkie had been injured by a groomer at the Dog Stop on Washington Blvd. I waited 3 months b4 taking her anywhere for grooming b/c I wanted to allow Lilybear to decompress from her trauma. A friend recommended Janice and despite the fact that LilyBear immediately attempted to bite Janice, Janice persevered & was able to complete a mini groom. I’m so grateful - hopefully, next time Lilybear will be a little more calm. I’ll definitely return!”

“I am an elderly female with a very powerful Pitbull which is not friendly with other dogs. She is fantastic with people as long as they do,not try to hurt me. The trainer and floor associates recognized me immediately outside and for warned me of large number of dogs inside store. I was ready to cancel her needed rabies shot and try for another time when they very quickly stepped forward to assist me in getting the shot accomplished. Their concern and overall kindness with both me and my pet Lady was amazing and definitely not part of their job discription or my expectations. They made sure my pet was weighed then vet and assistant cared for her and gave her her needed shot in grooming are using outside entrance for me to enter. Then I went to,pay and trainer stepped forward to stay with Lady so I could go into store and do this. Great experience which I almost believed To be an impossible accomplishment that they made possible for me and my Fur Baby with as little stress as posssible. They are amazing and I definitely will continue to my food and treat purchases from them and will continue with my Petco Vital Care Premier membership. I will also highly recommend this Petco to others.”

Highly recommend - for the fish area. No comment on the rest of the store. The parking lot is ridiculous most days - not their fault.”

“Yesterday was the second visit to the store. I just moved to Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago and got a new puppy this past week. Everyone that I have come in contact with there has been super friendly and nice and you could tell they all love pets. I would like to point out one person that stood out at the checkout. Abby was amazing. She took her time with me went through the book with all the coupon coupons to make sure that I used the ones that I could. I’m excited to bring Benji in Wednesday for his first experience of grooming. It’s nice to have a place where it can be all in one with the vet grooming, and next it will be the training.”
“I've been coming here for years and years and they never fail! Saw a tank I wanted after a few weeks of research, contacted them and had it within a week! Customer service is unmatched, animals always healthy, and prices are always fair! I also wanna give a special shout-out to Mike! “Honestly hands down my favorite chain pet store location. Everyone is so nice and they have very amazingly unique aquarium plants! I saw a lizard shape covered in moss, another in the shape of a spider, beautiful moss rocks, and rocks with floating plant rings attached. Honestly wish I came here to buy plants for my tanks with fish that doesn't bother them but at least now I can tell you, come for the great deal on fish tanks and stay for all the amazing plants and other decor you can fill your tank with! Don't forget to grab your fish food on the way out if you already know what fish you're going to stock your tank(very smart on you to do so, you can learn more about the pets you want before buying!) with because they have just about every aquatic pet food under the sun! Their Betta supply section is also very impressive and I found items from brands I'm not familiar with which was a nice find! Their toy/bedding/food selection for hamsters was more extensive than I had expected. It's definitely worth the 45+ min trip for me to get some great deals on my pets supply needs and more!”
“This is by far the best best best pet supply place in Pittsburgh. Everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. They are a no kill refuge for dogs, cats and rabbits. The fish and fish supplies manager is unequaled in Pittsburgh - he wants your fish to thrive. They only stock top quality pet foods - no sugar or fillers. (Yes, it costs more than the addictive pet crack at the supermarket.) It's out of the way but so worth it.”
“I get really disappointed reading all of the negative reviews when I visit this location because every time I come in it’s smells wonderful, and after I’m hit by the smell I notice how clean the store is. It has a beautiful selection of food, even though some things may be out of stock, there’s always other available options. I will say that I dislike small animals being kept in cages and not given the space needed, however this store does an excellent job maintaining cleanliness and keeping healthy pets!”
