Don't go in here if you love your money. I don't say this in a bad way but what I mean is if you go in here with a budget in mind, you're bound to come back with 2X or 3X of that budget because everything here is so good. The first time I visited I was pretty overwhelmed because of the variety of brands but over time I have developed taste for certain brands. Everything that you want to make an authentic Italian Dish and more you will find here. My favorite section is the Deli which has a large collection of cheese, olives and cured meat. Definitely the best selection anywhere in Pittsburgh. I also love that freshly made pasta. The only thing is don't really buy stuff that you can find in a normal grocery store from here because it will be priced higher. Just go for the specialty stuff which you cannot find in a normal grocery store around Pittsburgh.

Staff is top notch and they consistently slice and wrap the cold cuts with extra care - you will not find a deli quite like this anywhere else in the city. You’ll find all sorts of varieties of fine cheeses, cured meats, frozen dry and fresh pasta, fresh bread, and a particularly great selection of olive oils.

Nice goods; rude cashiers. On two different occasions I've been "scolded" for not following the right procedure, such as swiping my card too early. I'll shop somewhere nicer.

Excellent Italian grocery store. Literally hundreds of cheeses to choose from; in addition to pastas, olive oils, tomatoes, meats, breads, and more. The aisles were packed with people. We selected many items for a home cooked pasta meal tonight.

Went to Pittsburgh today to PennMac. I had to purchase some cheeses for an Easter dish. Just love the great assortment of goods, had great service I believe it was Travis, not sure of the young man's name, but he was so helpful, kind, and really went out of his way to serve us?. Will definitely be going back.

PennMac isn't a store, it's an experience. If it's a meat, cheese, spice or sauce you're probably not going to have to go anywhere else to get it. The amount of variety jammed Under One Roof is hard to believe and you really just need to see it for yourself. Even with his busy is the staff always are, nobody is ever too busy to answer a question. The people that work there know exactly where everything is and can lead you directly to it. Of all of the great shops on the strip, pennmac is a must!

Love this place. Me and my wife take a trip to here every couple weeks. From pasta and sauces to the large variety of high quality meats and cheeses. This is the place to go. The staff is great and very helpful and friendly. A must go if your ever in the strip district.

Absolutely amazing! I love this store and the products they have within. They also accept EBT which is a HUGE plus! This store is definitely worth s look see, especially for my Italian heritage folk! I will definitely be back!
