Kind of a pain to get there but I used these guys all the time. Sometimes took longer than I'd like but these guys always seemed to get hammered with customers. Very busy place but short handed. Scott always took very good care of me but since he's no longer there I'm not sure if if I'll use them again. Monroe corporate left these guys short handed all the time. They needed more help. Monroe screwed up when they didn't try to keep Scott and get him more help. He's a great mechanic and service writer but he couldn't do everything, which he did. They rest of the crew was good too but you can't keep slamming them with work and not enough help. Monroe corporate needs to wake up and take care of their people or they're not going to have any good people left.They'll probably lose Ray too. Another overworked mechanic. You had a great manager with Scott but you screwed up Monroe letting him leave. Take better care of the people you have or your gonna lose all your good ones.

I originally taken my car to get it inspected and found out that I needed a new CV Axel so I didn't think much about it and sent it to another shop not Monro ,but a little small shop down the street from my house . So I picked up my car and they had broken the CV Axel so at that point I didn't trust the small mechanics shop anymore! I called around and I spoke to Ray W. At Monro West Liberty Ave Dormont Pa, and he said hey I can look at it and most likely fix it, so I had it towed over and he looked over it told me what happened to my 7 day old brand new CV Axel and how that I needed a new one because the old shop broken off a seal ! Ray got the work done within 24 hours and the car is running just fine now and no more leaking a ton of expensive Mitsubishi transmission fluid at $35 a liter ! Ray thanks again buddy for taking care of business! When Ray says I'll get it done best believe he's gonna get it done and the proper way !

Elias was completely unprofessional and did not honor the communication that I had with his assistant earlier. I had a leak in my tire that needed fixed and called ahead of time (9:30 am) to make sure it was ok to drop off (10:00 am). When I followed up on my car later in the day (5 pm) I spoke with Elias and stated I was following up on the status of my car. He said that they were unable to get it and would “probably” get to it tomorrow. When I communicated that I spoke with someone before dropping it off he stated that I probably spoke with his assistant. When questioned about the probability of the tire being fixed next day he said “it depends on what all comes in tomorrow”. This made me question the workflow, in which, I proceeded to ask do you not work on a “first in, first out” system. He said he hasn’t been off in 7 days and that nobody wants to work hard. Probably one of the worst communication experiences I’ve had in my life. Please don’t waste your time.

Elias was the only person willing to help me with my stuck down driver's side window after a long morning of searching the local area on a Sunday. When I told him it was probably the fuse, he took 5 minutes of time out of his busy day to pull the blown fuse. Then told me which one to get AutoZone since they didn't carry it and how to replace it if it keeps tripping. As an out of towner, he absolutely saved me before my 8+ hours drive today. Thank goodness for Elias and thanks to Monro Auto Service!

Since they changed Manager and put someone new, he is so rude and unprofessional. It is easy to get appointments since not many people goes there. It is my last time I go to this store. I have three cars and use to go there but today is last day going in that store .Not recommended to anyone to go there

Good Service, but car interior was neglectedI recently visited Monro Auto Services for wheel alignment, oil change, and tire replacement, and I must say that the overall service was commendable. The staff was professional, and the work done on my vehicle was satisfactory and they were really fast. However, there was one significant drawback that affected my overall experience.I was disappointed to find my light gray driver’s seat significantly dirtier than when I arrived. It was dirty, black with horrible soot. It seemed as though they had been neglected during the service process, resulting in a noticeable buildup of dirt and grime. This oversight was unexpected and left me feeling somewhat frustrated.I had to mention that before I left and then waited for 30 minutes standing and waiting while they start cleaning it. I don’t know why it is even possible to make car interior dirty while you’re working.

Ray was very helping in explaining the issues with my car so I could understand. Even though they could not service my car they had fantastic customer service and were very professional. I would come here again!!

Monro just performed an oil change on my 2014 Chevrolet equinox. They have a new manager at this location. In every interaction I had with him, he was either rude, dismissive, or insulting. I am a retired teacher, and I can't believe that somebody at least 20 years younger than me actually took out a yellow highlighter and highlighted the fine print on the mailer that I can't even read. And as a teacher, I have attended trainings where they said, the only thing worse than using a highlighter to correct a students work is to humiliate the student in person by highlighting their mistakes. So I was insulted, discriminated against because of my age, charged more, and after snidely telling me that his technicians went all over my car with their courtesy inspection I walk out, and my driver side mudflap is hanging by one screw. This manager also refused to give me his last name, even though it was printed on the receipt. And then, oddly enough, when I asked if he was from Pittsburgh, he told me exactly what neighborhood he lived in. So after being a loyal customer for more than 10 years, I'm going to have to publicly break up with Monroe until they either fire this new manager, or the store goes out of business. Nobody who worked with the previous manager is going to put up with being treated like I was today. And the most telling part was that every other employee greeted me by name and said a friendly hello. This manager, who was doing absolutely nothing when I walked in grunted at me "what do you want?" I was the one who had to say good morning. I would advise anyone to take their business elsewhere.

The team at this location were excellent. They were accommodating in completing the service within my timeline and on short notice. They were very helpful, and I highly recommend this location. I'll be returning in the near future with another vehicle.

Took our Toyota Corolla to Scott and he told us it it would take 3 to 5 days for the part to come in , we had planned a trip out of town the day after the car was supposed to be done and that's when he called at the end of the day and said it would be ready the next day,we were disappointed, he worked late and surprised us1.5 hours later the job was done . Who does that.

I dropped my car off for a State inspection and it was done when promised!! Scott said he would "make it happen" and he did. Very professional, courteous staff. Will go back for other services on my vehicle--well done!!

Scott Donovan and the Monroe crew were excellent! We needed emergency repairs to continue our cross country road trip during our short stay in Pgh. We had multiple issues after a BAD travel day: Brake pads, rotors, tires - everything completed in record time and car returned to us without missing a day of our trip! Love their attitude and their work!
