This was my very first time here. I have never bought fall flowers before . I tell myself, i will over or under water them & they will die in a week.
I stopped here because they had the most beautiful pots of Mums displayed outside. Normally I would look and move on due to how high the cost of these are at most other places.
I was pleased when I looked at the prices, $9.99 for the large pots!! I picked out the most beautiful large pot of Jacqueline Rose Mums. Which is a shade I’d never seen before and am in LOVE with. I also picked a smaller orange mum.
While I was checking out, I asked the gentleman at the counter, how to water them and how often. He very thoroughly explained how much water to give, not to use a watering can that has holes & goes all over the flowers, get right in the soil & when to water them. Which I didn’t know this, depends on where they will be placed.
I don’t come across many counter service workers that will go out of their way and take time with you and not make you feel like you are bothering them. I want to say thank you to that man. Gives me a renewed sense of there is more good people out there than I am aware of. ? and you gained a new customer for life.

Really gorgeous selection of flowers. Extremely friendly help. Always a "thank-you" and a smile waiting for you at the checkout. Also unique fountains and yard decorations.

Higher prices and now charging a 4% credit card fee if not using cash. Guess that’s why the parking lot is empty. Plus, Home Depot is right across the street

Just go to Lowe's or Home Depot across the street from Meders. Their trees and bushes come with a 1 year replacement guarantee. Meders offers nothing and is more expensive. You can get larger items across the street that look nicer and cheaper, plus a warranty.
