Bob is such a gem, great stories and an even better collection. if you go in with an open mind you'll leave with just what you want. mountains of good stuff, if you have an aversion to the clutter you're not *really* into antiquing. five stars for keeping it real and not trendy.

McDonough’s is an absolutely charming place, and the owner is quick to chat and also dish out a few zingers. He’s lighthearted and kind. To say there are many gems and that those gems are hidden in the open is an understatement. Go analog and check this place out.

Opposite of what anyone would call a pleasant and tended shop! Old chap sat outside the front door, I suppose, because he almost couldn't breathe or find a place to sit like me. My 53-year old lady friend couldn't go in for it being a single one-way footpath.I'm an antique person - never in my 68 years have I seen such a precarious awful Claustrophobic Can of Clutter!Guarantee he'd have twice the business if there was had half the Mad McD's Maniac Mess! (Good names for the place) No one could get at the street storefront material, not even the proprietor! Who's going to take an unmarked item all the way through the jungle to him?A sad day if or when the poor old chap will be found having been buried alive in his own device! Time for a "fire sale"!

This place is a gem! There is a lot of history in the pieces here but you will have to dig around. It's totally worth it if you're looking for a one of a kind antique and addition to your home.
