I met Nanci at one of my solo art shows, and her and Christian approached me about having a show at their place. This was back in 2018. Since then I have shown at KCC numerous times, and worked with Nanci on social media workshops. It's always a great time being there. The professionalism that she has is great. She's very easy to work with for setting up a show. Having creative freedom on how the artist wants to show their work is great. Out of all the galleries and creative spaces in Pittsburgh KCC goes above and beyond for local artists new, emerging, and seasoned. We're treated with respect, care and appreciation. I really believe they should write about on the importance of supporting local artists.

Ketchup City is such a wonderful gallery space! We hosted a group exhibition there and Nanci made sure we had everything we needed to have a successful exhibition. I have loved all the exhibitions I have seen here so far and can’t wait to see more!

This is such a welcoming, accessible and clean space. The community is fortunate enough to have amazing art brought right into the neighborhood but also a space that can be used for other needs. It is also a business that actively participates in community events, helps plan events + supports the local businesses.I have attended a number of events - CPR Training, solo exhibits, themed multi-artist events, fundraisers and events that are part of the larger community/neighborhood (Open Streets, Fall events, etc.)It is easy to flow though the space and see the art. There was a ton of thought put into how to showcase the art on the walls so it is visually appealing. You can tell equal thought was taken to make the space accessible (a ramp to get into the building, bathrooms, etc.).Ketchup City, owner Nanci, does a great job of having a variety of artists with differing styles, mediums and price points which makes anyone feel welcome and able to enjoy the art. You can often have the opportunity to hear directly from the artist about their process & pieces. The quality of art matches any local museum without any feeling of pretentiousness or like you might not belong.Ketchup City also does a great job at communicating what events are happening, but even if you are just walking by I know you will feel welcomed if you just pop in.

This was a cute studio space showcasing local art. The location is great, near a lot of breweries and restaurants and very walkable!

I traveled to this location to see a local artist (Bob Fryer). I loved the location. It was in downtown Sharpsburg (never been). The streets were busy with people. I am not sure what was going on. The venue was cool. an open area with art. What more can you ask? The art was fun. The venue provided an opportunity to talk with other viewers and the artist. It was just a big social. A great thing to do if you want to meet some new people and have a new experience.

Ketchup City Creative is definitely a gem in Pittsburgh! I used this venue for my art exhibit. The owners, Nanci and Christian are fantastic. I never had an exhibit before this one, but they generally know what you need and are right there to help out where needed, without taking over your show. They have a wonderful system for hanging pictures (framed or canvas). I managed to squeeze in about 70 pieces of varying sizes (from [11 x 14"] to [24 x 48"]). It was a tight fit, but it looked awesome. You could easily look amazing in this space even if you have only 10 or 20 pieces, depending on the sizes. I grouped the paintings into sections, and Nanci had the entire show hung in less than an hour! (It's easy to move pieces around if you need to - in seconds or minutes, which I did a couple times). The lighting is terrific. In addition to the canvas art, I was also able to display two hand-painted full length wedding gowns (with trains) in the middle of the floor as well as a swirl painted guitar on a guitar stand. Their prices are very reasonable for newbie artists who are just getting started, and they also promote to their regular patrons without charging extra. They have tables and chairs right there on site, which is also very helpful. The place is clean and very well maintained. Bravo to Nanci and Christian for this amazing place! leannschmidt.com facebook.com/leannschmid…

This is an incredibly accommodating place to have an event. The owners are so helpful and kind. I would recommend Ketchup City Creative to anyone. And if you just want to do something different, it's also a great place to stop in and see what is happening.
