This is probably the best independently-owned little shop in the world. Everything is really well curated and eclectic. Fantastic book selection. My favorite place to buy gifts for people. The staff can always recommend something perfect and they’re always really kind.

While I sat outside enjoying my coffee from coffee tree roasters this morning .A group of young African American boys asked an employee that had a black and yellow tent setup outside of this store if they would like to purchase a water .Her reply was “ oh I thought you were selling watermelon “.the young boys walked off and whispered “ wow that was racist “I was so shocked at what I just overheard I wish I had courage to stick up for them at the time but didn’t.

One of the coolest shops I’ve ever poked around! My family sends me cards from here all the time, so I was super excited to visit! There were a ton of cute mugs, stickers, books, cards (of course) and more novelties! My favorite section was the book candle and tea aisle. From the Cather in the Rye to Mr. Darcy, all of them smelled so accurate!?! Would stop by again!

Kards is a very cute shop with a great selection of books, cards, and gifts for everyone in your life. They also host a monthly book club that just started back up that I enjoy participating in as a reader.

A fun store that's pretty much guaranteed to have something for everyone. Books, cards, board games, puzzles, art, stickers, you name it. Very unique store and very friendly customer service. Also, way bigger than it looks from the outside. Fun place to spend some time and buy some things you don't need!

I can’t say enough about Kards Unlimited.
In the age of online shopping and big box stores, KU is a breath of fresh air. It’s easily one of the coolest shops in the city! There is so much to look at and it’s the kind of stuff you don’t find anywhere else: cards, stickers, games, books—you name it. I never leave without fun gifts for at least 3 people (and myself, of course.) KU has the most unique things with a sense of humor, including Pittsburgh-themed goodies.
To note: I also love that they support other local businesses, artists and makers. They are also pretty loudly liberal and accepting. Definitely feels like a safe space. (So important these days.)
I remember coming here when I was a kid with my mom—just in awe of everything! I hope this store lives on and on. Shop local, folks! Don’t let brick and mortar be gobbled up by the greedy corporations.

I absolutely adore this shop. They always have the best knickknacks and souvenirs. I like to look at the cook books that they have. I have been shopping here for about 4 years now and their staff is always very nice.
