I purchased 2 Japanese Blood Maples with the aid of Marc. With his knowledge he was able to help me pick out amazing healthy trees. After planting the trees I decided I needed one more. I've been very busy and I was not able to get to the store to pick another one out. So, with my trust in Marc I called and asked him to pick one out for me and deliver it on Friday. I'm very appreciative for his knowledge, patients, kindness and help. Thank you Marc.

Today was the second time I tried to get vegetables, flowers and pots at Jim Jerkins since they changed name to “Phelps” and hoping the management and customer service was different. The pots and planters are all over some marked, others not and several without price. I saw a guy moving trays and asked if he worked here. He said yes with a smirk, then I asked if the pots were on sale since they were so dusty and priced, he then moved to undermine me and plainly being a j**** He said: what kind of question is that? This is memorial holiday our biggest time in the year. I told him that was a honest question, then he said it was a stupid question and asked me what did I did for living. I am not joking!! I walked out immediately. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Change the staff!! go do something else if you hate the job so much and can’t stand women buying from you. I am sure it was a man without an accent he would not jump on me with those condescending questions.

Awesome place, great selection. They need to have more help to explain items or have tags on them to know maturity measurements. I would of liked to purchase a tree that doesn't get very large.

I purchase vegetables, flowers, and trees from Jim Jenkins. Has been a good experience every time. One time I accidentally purchased an extra pepper plant and it was not an allowable return, so I planted it and it produced tasty little peppers just like the card said it would.I have me the owners and I have found them to be polite and hard working. I hope the new owners make sure to stock Cherokee Purple tomatoes because those are my favorites.

I understand this business was sold. The mulch I would periodically order in the past was always of quality and was sufficient. I recently ordered mulch and it was the best yet with low odor and great color and texture.

Jim Jenkins is evil. The manager does not have enough authority to handle complaints in a satisfactory manner. Bought a bag of organic soil infested with hundreds of fungus gnats and had multiple house plants infested with pests. My two spider plants from Jenkins nursery were destroyed by the gnats larvae, and it took me months to eradicate the pest problem. Called the manager to complain and sent an email to the owners and nobody cared, they simply pretended that the gnats were caused by overwatering my plants. This place has very bad energy and many complaints! Please stay away
