614 Pressley St, Pittsburgh“Cute hotel with history as a religious and neighborhood center years ago. "Edgy" neighborhood after dark. Questionable front desk practices regarding handling of credit cards. Overnight clerk made a physical paper xerox copy of my credit card with my drivers license. I understand about my license but when questioned about copying my Visa card, I was told they keep it for their records. On a piece of paper that lays around on the desk for any employee to see? Forever? Heck no. This is how money and identities get stolen. I made him give me the portion with my CC info right away. He didnt need it for their records, my CC is already kept in their software (which is concerning). Day clerk when I checked out, said that copying credit cards is not their policy. I have stayed at the Priory before. It's very close to the hospital where I work 4 days each month (40 hotel nights per year in Pittsburgh). Convenient. Nice front desk staff but something sketchy happened to me there regarding my credit card. They do not even have a chip reader on the counter for you to use either. Employees complain about the software they use, I wonder if it's even secure. Lax business practices with your money and identity.”
“Ideal location with lots to do close by. In addition, potential for a variety of small group options for a more tailored stay.

3406 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh“The Brownsville Road House is the best Bed and Breakfast in the Pittsburgh region!! We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful historic mansion. Every room has its own unique personality! The owner was so welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable during our stay. His homemade breakfast was simply perfect with the parfait, special egg dish (with a secret ingredient) and potatoes. Bob really makes everyone feel like they are a special guest when staying here. We are so thankful we didn't stay at a hotel for this trip! And best of all, our golden loved it too!
Rooms: The rooms are so rich in history. Absolutely comfy beds too!”

1247 Smallman St, Pittsburgh“This hotel is a great place to stay in. The workers are kind and the breakfast is great. There is also a pool and a gym to pass time. The rooms are nice but could be a bit cleaner. There are many things very close to it too which is nice. Over all I had a great stay.”
“The view was incredible. The room was clean and very nice.
However, my window was not completely closed and the WiFi wasn’t working, so I’m glad I didn’t pre-pay for it.
The printer in the business center had problems but a staffer was very helpful and printed out the documents I needed.
Staff ranged from super friendly and helpful to aloof.”
“The Parador Inn in Pittsburgh, PA, is a charming and unique place to stay, full of character and history. Three of us spent a delightful weekend there and left thoroughly impressed (May 10 to 12th, 2024).The Inn is housed in a historic mansion that dates back to 1870. Originally built by Charles J. Clarke, a prominent Pittsburgh industrialist, the building exudes the grandeur of a bygone era with its beautiful Victorian architecture and detailed craftsmanship.Ed Menzer, the owner and manager, deserves special mention. His warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Ed's dedication to maintaining the inn’s historic charm while providing modern comforts is evident. His personal touch and attention to detail created a welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, each with its unique theme and character. The common areas were equally impressive, offering cozy spots to relax and enjoy the inn's ambiance (we especially enjoyed meeting and sitting and chatting in the parlor). The gardens and inviting outdoor spaces are great and the B&B is located within an easy walk to good restaurants and the Andy Warhol Museum. We visited Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, which were about an hour drive. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable lodging experience in Pittsburgh. We look forward to returning in the future.Thank you Ed.”
“We highly recommend Pittsburgh's Grand Hall for your wedding!!!!! Every single guest mentioned how beautiful the venue was, and how well-run and organized the venue handled our wedding. Not to mention The Priory hotel is attached which was convenient for our out of town guests! There was nothing more we could have asked for. The wedding packages were very inclusive, and everything ran like clockwork!”

300 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh“With the exception of the loud noise from the AC that initially disturbed my sleep, my stay was made exceptional thanks to the outstanding customer service from Chris at the restaurant The Factory and Ben at the front desk.
Ben, in particular, is an absolute powerhouse! Despite working the overnight shift and being the only employee during that shift, he was incredibly welcoming, upbeat, and a true joy to interact with. He went above and beyond to assist me with my printing needs, ensuring everything was seamless. His dedication to top-notch customer service turned my stay into a genuinely pleasant experience. The thoughtful joke he shared was the cherry on top.
Ben is a gem of an employee and undoubtedly deserves a raise or promotion. It’s rare to encounter such professionalism and warmth, especially during the overnight hours. Thanks to the outstanding service he provided, I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town.”

5105 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh“We had a wonderful stay!! I'm from Pittsburgh and drove by this place 1000 times! I had no idea it was a place to stay until recently. The mansion is gorgeous and the architecture is beautiful. The wood work in this place is mind blowing!!! It's amazing! Top grade craftsmanship went into building this place and renovating it.The night we got there, there was a party downstairs on the main floor around the main entrance. We pulled up and could hear the music. Parking gave us a bit of anxiety but it worked out. We did get a spot around back. They have valet parking. The valet driver just told us where to park so we followed that direction. he also asked us before parking if we had plans on leaving. That's important because if you want to leave and there is a party, it could take a good bit to get your car out. We didn't have an issue because we stayed in.We stayed up on the 3rd floor. This place is so big and so solid that we couldn't hear a peep coming from the party on the first floor!!! Our room was big and private. We didn't encounter anyone else on our floor the whole weekend. There were no noisy people upstairs or beside us or roaming the halls. The place is so solid that we didn't hear a peep!!! The bathroom in our room had a nice shower, TV, comfy bed. There is a staircase and stained glass window as soon as you walk in the main entrance that's breathtaking. we walked a few streets over the next day to Pamela's for breakfast which I would also recommend. We had a great stay. I think there are extras you can add on to your stay like butler service or breakfast but we didn't do that. we were just kind of left to enjoy and we loved that! The lady that checked us in and out was so nice. It was really incredible to see this place if you are a fan of architecture. Chefs kiss!!I do think it would be helpful if they had a little map or something for people that stay. Trying to figure out how to get to our room took us a few minutes because we had to check in inside the house next door, walk into the mansion, take the elevator up and figure out how to get up to 3. The lady that checked us in gave us directions that were clear but when you don't know where you are going it takes a few minutes to figure out the route. We figured out 2 ways to get up to the 3rd floor. There's probably more the place is so big. It's really an awesome place. I would say go if you want a weekend away and are from pgh. It's so much better than a hotel!!! It's top notch!”

100 Chauvet Dr, Pittsburgh“I stayed in a suite March 16 just for the night. Needed to catch shuttle at 7:15 to airport and was only in the room for about 12 hours. Did not know it had a kitchenette, which unfortunately I did not need, so I’m assuming that’s why I had to place $100 deposit. It’s only been 2 days and I’m sure it’ll be returned to my account soon, I hope. Lol. Very nice people at desk. Shuttle was very convenient.Rooms: Dated, but clean.”

Seriously these guys need to be recognized on a national level by Marriott. Huge shout out also to Dianne, Bryson and Lynn. Clean hotel, friendly staff, And excellent food! We will definitely be back! Oh and the blue cheese dressing is out of this world. Danny deserves a Michelin star for that!Rooms: They were like the best rooms ever. Interesting designNearby activities: 15 minutes from the STEELERS. Say no more fam!Safety: Let me start by saying I NEVER leave my wife alone at a bar. On the second night I had to get up briefly to use the rest room and there were some other people at the bar/bistro there I didn’t know yet, and I felt so safe and secure knowing Danny was there. That’s trust, man!Food & drinks: The food was fantastic! Actually skipped going back to the city in favor of these tasty treats. Danny and blaze know how to cook!”

“We stayed here during road trip to Pittsburgh for a Steelers game. The location is super convenient, just 10 minutes walk from the stadium. It's right among all the bars and restaurants in the surrounding area but the rooms are well sound-proofed. We couldn't hear any noise from the street.
Rooms themselves are standard Hyatt Place rooms, which are always nice and spacious with the large living area. Staff was really friendly. The hotel and staff do a good job of catering to the gameday experience.”

Rooms: The room was awesome. My husband is handicapped and we have stayed so many times that they give us the same room.

425 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh“I was told by an IHG hotel rep over the phone that this hotel has EV charging available at parking. That is the main reason I booked this hotel. There is no EV charging. Parking is across the street in a separate city parking lot, which costs $29 for the night. That said, the hotel is fairly solid. The rooms, furniture, and services are higher quality than what I usually experience in the $100-200 range. The shower had modern fixtures, the room had RGB mood lighting, the outlets were updated with USB, and the room was fitted with fitness equipment built right in.The location, besides the parking, is excellent, within easy walking distance for a lot of good food, drink, and shopping. As far as negatives, besides the parking, my view was not great. Out my windows was a depressing, featureless concrete courtyard. The hotel lobby is also on the 5th floor, which was confusing - not a big deal, but better signage to indicate where to go would have helped.”

Positive =
Location

Great views from 23rd floor

Negative =
No live TV available during my stay, how is that possible in 2024?

“This super 8 is awesome!! It holds a special place in our heart because it was where I met my husband for the first time!! We met here 8 years ago and it was nice then and now it looks newly renovated and fresh! We have never had a bad stay here and we stayed about 4 or 5 times. This time we came to celebrate our Anniversary and got the jacuzzi room! That is a very nice room and everything was super clean including the big tub and it was so relaxing. 5 stars to you guys there is nothing to complain about unless you are a spoiled brat. I am very grateful for the super 8!”

500 Mansfield Ave, Pittsburgh“This hotel is located in Pittsburgh. It was easy to get to located on just across the river from the city. 5 Stars ? ? baby! Why? Because the staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. We had just driven 5 hours from Virginia to get there, wasn't tired, but was ready for a King sized bed to rest and a place to eat. ??. 5 Stars ? ? as we were not disappointed for what we found. The atmosphere was quiet, food was fantastic. You could dine in or have it brought to your room. We dined in. Wish I could have stayed longer ?, but I was headed to Michigan. My son had a major operation at Henry Ford Hospital. So with a fantastic night's rest, we go off without any problems. When you're there, be sure to grab a room with a king-sized bed. It will sssssoooooo good ?. Got to close my eyes. Made it to Michigan without any problems. My son had a successful aneurysm repair. Thank you Jesus! There were family and friends praying all across the landscape from various faiths that it came out well. Not sure who you are or where you are going or have been. I just know I've got a friend who I too can call on in the midst of a storm to hear my cry. I'm praying that if you read this, and if you too need a friend. Just call out to him and he'll be there to for you. I pray that you'll have a successful day. Thank you for letting me share...going back to sleep ? now, because tomorrow, my son will get to go home. Be cool ?, follow me and I'll do my best to keep you posted on my next venture back home to Virginia. Ciao ?!
Rooms: Fantastic!
Safety: No problems. Great surroundings!
Food & drinks: More than you will need.
Noteworthy details: Pool plus gym...with all that you'll need.”
“Clean and modern rooms in a great location! Alejandra at the front desk was very helpful during our stay.
