Bad: Incapable service & rude employee
I tested three Pittsburgh dry cleaners in the North Hills with the same task: I gave Hallmark, Owl, and Duro each a pair of Dockers khakis with a similar stain to remove. The stain / soil mark exists where my messenger bag routinely rubs up against the front pocket.
Hallmark’s first attempt to remove the stain was unsuccessful, similar to Duro and Owl. Hallmark agreed to a redo / a second attempt to remove the stain. I told them to hit the stain with everything they have.
I returned after Hallmark’s redo / second cleaning attempt.
The blonde woman brought the pants to the counter, and rather than hand me the pants to my outstretched hand, she held them on the counter and barked “$10!”
I asked for the pants.
She again barked “They are $10!”.
I had to explain to her multiple times that I needed to inspect the pants to confirm that the stain was removed before I would pay.
After she finally begrudgingly came around to reason, she handed me the pants, with disgust.
Big surprise: the stain had not been successfully removed.
The blonde woman then said the stain is impossible to remove. I told her that a similar stain on a similar pair of pants was successfully removed.
She snidely replied, “Super!”
Duro Cleaners got a comparable stain out on their redo / second attempt. Joe, the owner of Duro, is awesome. The rest of Duro’s staff is pleasant also, and Duro is transitioning to an all delivery service. So convenient! Give Duro your business. Avoid Hallmark, as they are incapable and rude.
(PS: I’m waiting on the redo / second attempt results from Owl, so I have no opinion of their abilities yet.)

Hey so it’s dry cleaning and it shouldn’t take a week. Much less not be ready on the day you said it would be. Your staff was very nice about it and helpful but regardless the amount of time for a few items is unacceptable. I’ve been to places that have done much more that were far busier way quicker. Don’t come here.

Nice clean ,friendly place. Great machines ....everything easy to use. Attendant can help w questions . They have wash n fold laundry service. Lots of big washers too!!

I absolutely love Hallmark Cleaners! The place checks all the boxes for a top-notch laundry experience. It’s incredibly clean, which is a big plus for me. The convenience factor is off the charts – from ample parking to a plethora of coin-operated washing and drying machines, they’ve got it all covered.I’m a fan of their dry cleaning services too – always reliable and efficient. Went here because laundry got away from me and wanted to get it done and the one closest to me on Babcock blvd is disgusting. This place though is clean enough there is an attendant there all the time which is so nice I had an issue with a dryer and she took care of it asap also they have lots of machines all sizes

Usually just use the dryers here since my apartment complex is cheaper to wash. It's always clean. Depending on when you go it can be a little crowded, but there are ample washers and dryers to use.
