I got swamp milkweed from this place and they even had tags on them that said “help save the butterflies”. Well last night they started throwing and dying and I realized that my milkweed has been treated with pesticides. I’m so disturbed and disappointed what kind of nursery or person knows the plant they are selling are for insects and treat it anyways!? Most likely neem oil since I’ve seen them in the soil. Do not go to this place they do not deserve the money, DO NOT BUY MILKWEED FROM HERE. They are part of the problem.

It’s a great source of plants, especially flowering perennials and for herbs/veg plants during the spring planting. They have all sorts: tree saplings, annuals, shrubs, etc.
The staff are very helpful, the ladies at the counter do know about plants like their hardiness, care and blooming features. They help search/order plants one wishes for ?????.
It’s very organized, plants arranged as though they’re in a garden. This makes it easy to browse and have a better thought of which plants might look like in one’s own garden/yard.
They have some “stone crafts” for garden/yard designs. They also have garden supplies.
It’s a true nursery????? rather than a seasonal box store merely dispose of plants in the spring/early summer.

This the best nursery in the North Hills by far. The selection and quality of the plants is first rate. Forget about the big box stores, they can't compare. Laurie is extremely knowledgeable and really cares about each and every customer.

The team at Hahn Nursery helped us turn a half acre empty lawn into what is going to be a lush, native landscape paradise. We are so happy with their on-site selections and their ability to order mature, high-quality products from regional growers. Their team delivered and carefully planted 9 native trees for us and the time and effort saved was worth the cost. Plant enthusiasts helping plant enthusiasts. It’s 1000% better than your big box home and garden stores!

Hahn Nursery has been in business for several decades, and they offer a large selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and vegetable plants. I needed assistance with selecting plants for my front yard, so I scheduled a landscaping consultation with Hahn. The consultation was reasonably priced, and the landscaper was very helpful in suggesting the types and placement of my plants. Later, I bought many shrubs from the nursery. These shrubs looked large and healthy. Hahn gave me advice about digging holes, using fertilizer, and watering, so I was able to install the shrubs myself.

Hahn Nursery is a family-owned garden center that opened several decades ago. It sells a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, house plants, vegetable plants, and herbs. This nursery also offers landscape consultation, delivery, and planting for additional fees. In recent weeks, my husband and I have visited this nursery multiple times. I felt impressed by the variety of plants and their available sizes. Some examples of plants were zinnias, hydrangeas, coneflowers, grasses, Japanese maples, butterfly bushes, azaleas, boxwoods, cypresses, junipers, hollies, yews, arborvitaes, spruces, blueberries, roses, tickseeds, black-eyed susans, and many more! Of course, many plants were not yet full-grown, but they were a decent size. I am in the process of installing plants in my front yard. I felt unsure of what plants to choose and where to install them, so I sent an email to Diana at Hahn Nursery to ask her to schedule a 1-hour landscape consultation with me. The next morning, Diana called me to set up an appointment for three days later--fast! On the day of the appointment, Diana arrived at my house on time. We needed only 30 minutes to look at my yard and to discuss the types, numbers, and locations of plants. Diana drew a layout on a piece of paper, and she wrote down the names of several potential plants. The total cost for this consultation was $85. Diana invited me to text or call her with any additional questions. After she left, I texted her to ask about plants that could grow on a sunny clay hill, and she soon responded with a few ideas. A couple of days later, my husband and I returned to the nursery to begin to buy shrubs. Diana was there, and I asked her to help me to finalize the best shrubs to choose. She helped me to choose four boxwoods and two gold mop cypresses. She also recommended that I buy a bag of Bio-tone fertilizer. The total cost was $403. This cost would have been roughly twice as much if I had purchased delivery and installation, but Diana assured me that my husband and I were capable of installing the plants ourselves. Later that day, my husband and I did a great job with installing the plants in our yard. In several days, my husband and I will return to this nursery to purchase additional plants that Diana helped me to choose, including potentillas and arborvitae. I look forward to admiring my front yard after I complete it! I also feel so happy that I will save several thousand dollars by doing the work myself rather than hiring a professional landscaper.

I went in to buy some flowers to plant in some raised beds and urns. Tess was THE BEST!!! She took so much time to help me figure out how the sun would hit my raised beds. She patiently answered all of my questions and helped me pick out some beautiful assortments of flowers that would survive and be easy to maintain in the areas I will be planting. Hahn's had so many beautiful colorful flowers to choose from!
