I had the same experience with Habitat Hardware as Kerrie R. except with a male salesperson. He questioned me about who my designer was then said, "I'm from Sewickley and I never heard of her. She must be young." with the vague implication that I was lying about having a designer. I was prepared to buy hardware and fixtures from them but was treated with such condescension and verbal harassment that I just walked out. Do yourself a favor and give your business to a person/company that respects you.

As the owner and operator of an interior design company I was shocked at how condescending this woman was. I bit my tongue for the first 10 mins while she talked over me instead of listening to my needs but the final straw came when she wouldn't give me a general price of an item and proceeded to speak to me as if I were a child. I finally had enough I told her thanks but no thanks we left the store. I will never buy anything from this arrogant woman and I hope none of my design partners will either.

Knowledgeable, patient service and advice from both Jane and Bill. Excellent choice of high quality hardware, bathroom and some kitchen products. We have found no other resource available like this in the Pittsburgh area.

They have more product than anywhere else in Pittsburgh that I have found. They were very helpful as I was replacing hardware and we wanted to see if we could do it without having to re-stain the cabinets. They worked with us to find a great fit at a good price.
