Thank you for responding so quickly to my 1 star review and explaining about the computer person being in the store when the salesperson stepped out for a minute. It would have been a good idea that he explain to customers that sales person would be back asap and he was a computer repair person. Now that you explained the situation, I put no blame on the store at all, but the repair person should have better manners. I will definitely be back to your store on my next trip to Shadyside. Thank you.

This store is full of very helpful and conversational employees that personalize your shopping experience. The store itself is also a quaint little shop! However, the lingerie available had a more mature and simple look. Not many bright colors or modern styles were available, and cheaper options were few and far between. If you are looking for a modest or classic lingerie style, this is the place for you! They had a fair amount of options upstairs.

Glassworks has been a Shadyside institution for longer than I care to remember. There's a reason why it has outlasted so many others. I believe it's due to the discerning eye of its owner and manager, Aileen. She has exquisite taste and an equally strong sense of customer service. Glassworks remains a jewel box of a merchandise selection that is without equal in metro Pittsburgh. It's only true competitor was the Gift Department at Saks. Since Saks abandoned Pittsburgh in 2012 Glassworks has remained the only source for some of the premier names in gifts --- Hermes, Baccarat, Christofle and Bernardaud. Check it out and shop local!

Glassworks has a wonderful assortment of items so it's always fun to shop there. I particularly love the selection of Mackenzie-Childs. The store
specially ordered a M-C floor covering or me and it arrived within days.
The owner is friendly and always helpful as is the rest of her
staff.
