Prices are too high compared to other grocery stores. I find cheaper stuff usually at Aldi, Target, and/ or Walmart. I only shop here if I have to make a quick run or if the other three stores don’t carry/ are out of what I need.

A little understaffed but they have a lot of groceries. Be ready to wait in line to check out though.
Since the update and addition of numerous self-checkout lanes, (early 2024-ish), it's better. If you like self-checkout; I do. There're generally a couple lanes free. Also with the plastic bag ban in effect now in Edgewood, there's no longer blue bags dancing around in the wind like that scene from American Beauty. People are carrying a few reusable bags around with them nowadays and Giant Eagle hands them out for free. I hope folks are re-using them at least several times. They don't seem to wear out that quickly.

I really like this giant eagle, a lot of nice people working here. On 3/23/24 I witnessed the lady restocking the donuts and bagels, get icing on her finger she licked it off and then continued to restock the donuts. I was specifically there for donuts, I will not get donuts here anymore. It turned my stomach ?
