Self checkout here is terrible. I've never had such a frustrating experience trying to pay for groceries. 3 times I've used self checkout, and 3 times it's been a nightmare. Ive learned my lesson.
Just trying to buy 2 bags of ice was terrible. "Item too heavy. Please scan from your cart.
Please place your item in the bagging area. Please place your item in the bagging area..item is too heavy, please remove from the bagging area. Please wait for help to arrive."
The associates are usually great, bouncing from lane to lane fixing issues as fast as they can. But they are so busy fixing the checkout lanes that someone could easily steal whatever they want. Ive been through plenty of self checkout lanes and none are this miserable. I'm not trying to steal, im trying to scan some tomatoes that "require assistance."

As a group we split up and was able to find everything that we needed likity shplit. Some shelves were empty but could have been getting a truck in the next day.

I wouldn't go here unless there were no other choices (there's an Aldi right down the street). Customer service is terrible. Wait times are way too long. You need an "advantage card" just to do a self checkout. Why? It's not a BJ's, Sam's Club, or Costco. Seriously, what is the point of this? Even the wait for self checkout is too long, and to wait and finally get there and realize you need to sign up for a card you're never going to use again is ridiculous. The employee's response to my simple question was rude. There's an armed security guard at the entrance..... It's just a grocery store! Hours are terrible. I'm having a difficult time finding one positive reason to go here.
