A big, bright, suburban Giant Eagle that is well managed and has plenty of parking. It's right off the Parkway North, which makes it really convenient for me. There's an entrance to a wine store on the left side. My complaints are the high prices and the produce is not very good. The produce looks fine, but when you get it home, it never compares to what I can get from a farmers market.The staff are hard working, and someone cleans the shopping carts before they are put back in use.They have a pharmacy and bank, which provides for one stop shopping.

So disappointed with the price gouging. Bought two "steak burgers " from meat department and after cooked were size of a slider. Before "inflation" the steak burgers were premium and hardly shrunk. What a rip off paying premium prices and getting sub standard product Two Idaho baking potatoes were over $7. Refuse to buy bagged potatoes as bagged produce always turns out to be less than marginal. Many instances where produce is rotting but not visible to customers

good reliable grocery store around pittsburgh. you can find everything from pre-packaged food to frozen section to deli to fresh fruits and vegetables. overall, decent prices on most things. they are an extensive grocery store that also dabbled in vitamins, health and wellness, and seasonal items.

I usually don't do reviews, but I just had to. I just moved to the North Hill in PA. from New York. I was feeling very lonely that is until I went into a Giant Eagle grocery store it said store 0045 on my receipt. It was later in the evening, and I began to shop the store was quiet. I purchased much more than I planned to. When I got to the point where I was checking out, I met so many wonderful employees it was amazing to me how quickly I had actually found friends in complete strangers. The lady bagging welcomed me to the store and told me how glad she was I came in. The cashier supplied me with a complimentary card to get the discounts. As I left, they both told me to come back and see them again. I certainly will I said. Sometimes I wonder why individuals choose to complain about trivial things. Put yourself in my place a new city a strange area and it was all made great by just a few caring individuals. TY

If I could give no stars I would. Having a get together tonight and hoped to make a charcuterie board. Unfortunately for me, your deli was closed. Who closes the deli on a holiday weekend?

The last time I was there the deli slicer that was used to slice my order was filthy. The deli attendant used it anyway. When I asked someone who said they were the manager that person said the slicers were only cleaned at specific intervals and not after each use. There have been several occasions there when I find items that are not on sale positioned directly under or in front of "sale" signs and if you don't pay close attention you will get a much higher bill than you anticipated. This has happened on several occasions in the meat department.

..I'm sorry to say I had an experience with a check out girl who is very rude to me... When I asked for her name... She refused to give it to me saying this is America and I don't have to give you my name... Aren't employee ssupposedto be wearing name tags

I have used the Curbside pickup at other locations with no problem. This was the first time I was given the wrong order. The shopper earlier in the day was fabulous, called me about issues and substitutions and I was looking forward to an easy stop. Then the worker who brought it out did not verify who's order he had and put the wrong order in my car. Neither worker verified the orders with the other cars that came at the same time. My order left with someone else and I had been told earlier in the day I was getting the last of a few products. So now I have to wait for them to shop for me again. One simple question would have stopped a huge mess.

Parking can be rough but employees are friendly. Store is clean, well stocked and clerks are helpful.

So so selection. You can save a few bucks if they have your brand on sale. It's crazy but even though the liquor store is in the grocery store, you have to check out separate. And then, if you want beer, you have to get it and check out on the other end of the store. PA needs to join the 21st century.
