Food was terrible. The pop you really pay for is the flattest pop you will ever have. Bring your own drinks. Ride isn't horrible for kids since we came for the kids halloween ride. Christmas one is nicer.

Took my family on this cruise to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. The food was very good. Above my expectation, actually.
It was about a 2½ hour tour up the river and back. Most all areas of the decks exterior were open for the public to mill about to see the sights. The top floor was very large and open with no cover, so the moon and stars were completely visible. There was a tour guide voice over the ships PA describing all the sights with lots of details. Meanwhile, below decks on the bottom floor was the full bar and wait staff to serve everyone there. There was a DJ there keeping the dance floor hopping where young and old alike enjoyed the party-like environment. It was the best time we had while visiting the Pittsburgh area that weekend.
I heartily recommend this to everyone of all ages!

First time on the Gateway. The ride was a great experience! We rode to Acrisure Stadium for the Steelers vs Jets game.
