I had a really great experience renting from Galasso Real Estate! Zack and the entire Galasso team were super responsive, very accommodating, fair with their prices, and genuinely care about their tenants. I would highly recommend renting or buying from Galasso!

Where do we begin? I suppose the only sensible way to begin this review is to share my feelings and experience with our landlord, Zachary Galasso. If you’re looking for a landlord who sits on the sidelines, ignores your service requests, and overall makes you feel like a cog in the real estate machine…then you’ve come to the wrong place. Galasso Real Estate, and specifically, Zack Galasso, go above and beyond to make our rental feel like home. In a world filled to the brim with callous people and an overall sense of feeling like just another number to add to the bottom line, it was a blessing to find a company that treats their tenants like family. I gave this review 5 stars, but if I could, I would give them 10.

I’ve been renting from Galasso for 7 years with good reason—they’re great to their tenants. Accommodating, friendly, efficient. Any repair is done quickly & the properties are clean. My experience has been so positive!

I've been in Guy's properties for two decades now, I've never had a problem requesting a repair and getting it done in a timely manner. I have Galasso to several friends who were looking for apartments.

Have had nothing but a great experience with Zach and the team at Galasso Real Estate. Rented from them for over 7 years and they’ve been extremely attentive and willing to go out of their way to service any needs in the rental. Now working with them in the home buying market and they could not be more helpful! Great family owned business.

Ended up not going with them as the location was too far from my work but they were some of the nicest landlords I have dealt with in Pittsburgh. Zach is always great to speak with and the properties they have are great if you are on a budget. If you want a 750/month apartment it will not be luxurious, but they will make sure you feel at home. When I need a new place I will definitely be going to them first over some of the other companies in the area!

I lived in a property managed by Galasso for 3 years from 2020-2023. Constantly throughout this time there was more and more responsibility given to the tenant. Terrible job done by the management team in giving photographic evidence as to why charges are added at move out which ultimately led to a massive deduction from the total deposit placed. The entire sheet detailing why a giant dollar amount is removed from a deposit (over 400$) is on an excel sheet saying “cleanliness - required cleaning”… I had a professional cleaning crew come in days before move out and that is all they could tell me. HilariousMove out process 1/10Had another incident with Zach (owner if Galasso) with my dog about dog poop being picked up in the backyard. I lived in this house for 2 years with a roommate and will say in all honesty didn’t clean up dog poop more than 3 times in that time frame. Day before moved out we cleaned up entirely. Constantly when it was just me living there constantly getting empty threats from Zach about picking up the dog poop and picking up trash that doesn’t belong to me the tenant. Trash from other homes blows into my yard and he would constantly call me and say “you could get fined just looking out”. Funny how as a hispanic never heard about this when my white roommate lived there but now “I could get fined”.Zach Galasso 1/10Always late to send help to your property. I had water leaking in to my kitchen and all they did was cut a giant hole to let the water drain and for probably 1.5 years there was a giant hole in my kitchen ceiling. Really nice when you have family come visit.Tenant services 5/10Will say. They always have a service to answer phone calls any hour of the day and the actual owner of the property helped many times (was a much bigger help than Galasso so not sure why he uses them lol)TLDR: do not recommend this company by any means. Non-friendly vibes to non-white people, unfair move out process with no photographic evidence, company as a whole has terrible soft skills in terms of communicating issues but like most property management companies they will likely say I am “a disgruntled former tenant”…. To that I say use them at your own risk and when half your deposit is gone for “cleanliness” no matter how clean don’t say you were not warned. Attached I have the photos of $380 dollars worth of “cleanliness”.Total rating 2/10

I’ve only been in one of the rental properties and it was a dump. Nice location and decent neighborhood but the place was held together by duct tape and glue. I spoke to a tenant and they said that “Zach” was unprofessional and a bully. I would steer clear if I had the option.

I was a tenant for over a decade and the Galasso team was always great with anything that I needed. When my fiance and I started the home buying process, Zack was the perfect agent for us. He worked around the clock when our last offer was active, letting me know late on a Saturday night that we had won the bid. I highly recommend using their full offering of real estate services. These folks truly care about their customers and make you feel like family.
