Went to this corner market for the first time yesterday in search of a good deli sandwich. Found one! I got a Turkey club on havarti - it was toasted and all the ingredients fresh. The guy at the deli counter was super friendly. While I was there I picked up 2 pre-made dinners (portions were easily for 2) --- pumpkin risotto & pasta bolognese. Each were $13.95 - which seems reasonable to me. My sandwich was $7.99 - pretty cheap. My husband & I didn't feel like cooking last night, so the risotto was quickly employed & it was really tasty! Perfectly cooked. The fresh bread was nearly gone, so I didn't get to grab something for dinner but was super satisfied with my choice. The prices weren't high - they seemed perfectly on par with a corner market where convenience is a premium. My only bad experience was with the fantastically UN-friendly cashier who seemed to go out of her way to be unfriendly & boy was she good at it. Really sad that *that* is what greets you when u go in. I'll definitely be back and am hoping that maybe she was just having a bad day.

One of the best places to get lunch in the area. They have delicious subs as well as pizza in the summer they have cookouts for lunch were they offer many grilled offerings, I couldn't recommend them enough

Not many people know of this place but this one has a very good quality of veggies and groceries, especially a range of cream sodas and they also have great take away options ranging from salads to sandwiches, all great quality. This place deserves more customer share in Squirrel Hill

Nice selection of food. Since a small independent grocery, prices are higher. The negative is the attitude of the staff. From the deli counter to the cashier they seem annoyed that they need to wait on customers. Observed by me and another shopper on multiple occasions - why???

I go here weekly. I enjoy their ready to eat foods from the deli (chicken kabobs, turkey meatballs, spanakopita, garlic green beans, curry chicken salad, apple basil chicken salad) just to name a few. Staff is also very friendly. I do wish they were open on the weekend.

Area is quiet store is a mom and pop people were extremely nice and helpful the food that they have there is extremely good especially you have a variety of salads and the corned beef and roast beef sandwiches a very very good.

About as classic a deli as I’ve ever seen in Pittsburgh. Really good MTO sandwiches, fresh produce, and an entire deli smorgasbords behind the glass, with everything from potato salad to chicken kabobs priced by the pound. Best of all, the prices are really reasonable. I was expecting gourmet/specialty deli prices, but nothing is much more than what you would pay at the supermarket. Super friendly people; this is a deli lover’s dream.
