The owner is an incredible guy. Works longer hours than anyone I know and is upbeat, polite, and friendly every single time I see him. Everyone in the neighborhood loves him. The store itself has a good selection and a few groceries like milk and eggs, but you should go out of your way to support this place because it’s exactly what a small neighborhood store is supposed to be.

I only stopped in to pick up a package but I wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often! The guys behind the counter knew almost every single person who came in. There was such a friendly, neighborly atmosphere it really brightened my day. I know that sounds strange for a convenience store, but I definitely recommend!

I just read the other reviews. Don't know what's up with them... I have never a problem with staff who were consistently pleasant to me. I enjoy walking to the Edgewood Express from my home in Swissvale. I get some exercise and then get to shop as a reward! I especially like to check out the selection of $5 t-shirts!!! The only thing I would do differently is to post store hours. I have walked to the store a couple times and it wasn't open. Oh well, it's still good exercise!
