On February 3, 2024, my wife and I visited this branch to inquire about our 6-year-old secured credit card and the annual fee. Unfortunately, our experience with the customer service representative, Nexen (I may have misspelled the name), was disappointing. We decided to close the account due to the negative and disrespectful interaction. Nexen's inability to answer our questions demonstrated a lack of knowledge about her role, contributing to an unprofessional experience.

I'm traveling and stopped in Dollar Bank at 1717 Cochran Road to withdraw cash for my trip. I took the money out of the mac machine, payed $3.50 fee and went into the bank for change. The cashier took the five twenties and counted out the fives I ask for then said she didn't have ones in her drawer and she wasn't going to get them because I wasn't a customer. I had the receipt from where I paid for the transaction, but, that didn't matter. Immediately the manage came over to tell me they aren't giving me change. The cashier put the fives back in her drawer and gave me back my twenties. I told the manager that this is the first time this has ever happened and she told me to go next door to Citizens Bank. Knowing Joe Smith and how he is always ready to help a customer I was shocked I would be treated so rudely. I was charged $3.50 and then refused change. I wouldn't EVER walk into or recommend Dollar Bank to anyone.

I use Dollar Bank for personal and Business accounts. I’ve made deposits here, and they’ve deposited the cash into accounts that don’t belong to me on multiple occasions. Every time I do a large business deposit, the scanner messes up and they get the wrong amount and I have to wait for them to figure out the mistake. I’ve had a passbook account that I’ve used for years that they all of a sudden decided to not allow me to withdraw from because I was a minor on the account (I’m 30 and the account was opened before I turned 18). Terrible, terrible service here. I am slowly moving all my accounts out of this bank and I would recommend you do the same.

This bank is refusing to process PPP loans for small business, they’re only doing it for their customers and the customers that already have loans, this is not what this government program was set up for. It was to help the small business, not the larger corporations, not for banks to pick and choose .and process loans for their favorite customers. What a scam

There always so slow in the drive thru and when you go in it seems they don’t have enough people to work.

Came here a while back to deposit a FEDERAL tax return check (this was not my usual branch but I lived out this way and was close). The teller and branch manager I believe(she had longer hair, was an older Caucasian woman with glasses) were acting as if they had no idea how to deposit a check. Why do you need a manager to deposit a check? I wasn’t even asking to cash it, I was depositing it into my account that I had had with dollar since I was 18. Finally they complete the transaction and as time passed I realized that they had done something to where there was a 4-5 day hold on my money (I did this transaction early in the week on a business day). Idk what their problem was (discrimination? did she not think a check from the US Treasury was real? We’ll never know) but I closed my account shortly after and will never bank with dollar again. Customer service at their various branches is never that great.

I have been with Dollar Bank for many years. Melissa Hastings is the branch officer at the Virginia Manor Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh, PA 15220. She has been such an asset to your bank as well as for me. She is very concerned about her customers and continues to offer exemplary customer service for me. She is always looking for new products for me to invest in. She always communicates with me about interest rates so that I can maximize my return on my CD's. I have known her for several years and she is a very genuine, caring and compassionate person...she is extremely consistent and knowledgeable. Because of Melissa, I will continue to do business with your Bank.

Melissa and her team are awesome! I always get great service at the teller line. I can do all my banking electronically but I choose to come in person when convenient. It's always a great experience. Thank you !!

I have banked with Dollar Bank for 20 years and should have cut ties years ago. Dollar bank customer service is non existent. Management is not helpful and all they do is stick to the script. They do not help with and customer service needs. Dollar Bank's fees are exorbitant and plain wrong. There is no room for error and errors are costly for no reason except to bend you over. Even when the oversight is not yours you're on the hook. I have opened another account at another bank and they've treated me better than Dollar has in the past 20 years that I've banked with them. Avoid Dollar Bank at all costs.

They have a nice drive thru, but it can get backed up. The location seems really nice, but this whole parking lot is ridiculous. You can only go certain directions in and out at each end.
