I couldn't recommend A Diamond in the Ruff any more highly. I spoke with Kathryn on the phone and in the salon and she was extremely friendly and helpful. They got my puppy in for his first grooming appointment really quickly and he had a great time making new friends while getting a great haircut. I'm so happy I found them and Charlie is too!

I just have to say a huge THANK YOU to the whole crew at A Diamond In The Ruff for getting my pup in so quickly for her first groom! They always do such a great job with our other dogs, so I knew Bella would be in great hands - and they did not disappoint! The fact that she came home so happy and relaxed just shows how much care and attention they really do put into each animal they see. Could not be happier to have such a great groomer in the South Side!

My cat had a matting emergency, and when no vets were open and would help, they let me bring my cat in pretty soon before close and as a brand new customer. They were willing to help me out, and very helpful in getting my cat cleaned up, shaved, and back to himself in 20 minutes. They were super gentle even though my cat was being a menace. They even cleaned my carrier before sending him home!

I have used Diamond In The Ruff for 1 year. The Owner, Chrissy, is not used to having a list for new customers and that became a contention. Although she did multiple good grooms for my dog she did not like my list. There were 2 times that I had to make a complaint and one was yesterday ... we moved and the groom did not hold up since 10-26-23. It is also difficult to be called names and to have my happiness linked to her grooming.These discussions are part of business. It is a difficult balance and my personality should not be part of my dog's grooming outcome.I did send photos which she invited and they have been blocked ! Today, I had to trim around my dog's mouth / eyes as the hair is long after 1 week ...I am open to discussion and taking the high road ... she has our number and should care even though we moved ...

Kathrine at A Diamond in the Ruff obviously loves animals so much and does a fantastic job grooming my pup. I have been really pleased with the time and care she puts into making my dog look adorable and her coat shine. I know my dog is afraid of hair dryers and baths, so I really appreciate it. We recently took out cat and our dog there for the first time after we were less than satisfied with our groomer we used for over 2 years and we DONT REGRET our decision!!! Our beautiful Maizy came out with a beautiful pink tail, happy, smelling delicious, and her fur has never been so soft. We so appreciate all the time they took to make us comfortable. We took our cat Marley in for a “Dino cut” this week and it came out even better than we imagined. 10/10 recommend!!!

Took my cat there and they are the best groomers I have found. They kept her calm (enough.. I mean she is a cat) and was able to get the mats off her without her freaking out. They were gentle and patient. Definetly going back!

Dropped my Morkie off after a serious overdue cut. He came out look like a new dog. Highly friendly staff, and they have tons of additional goodies for the pets. Will be back after his hair grows back. Highly recommended ?
