I have an antique "Brunswick Twentieth Century Table" in excellent condition. I used to have the old "Saunier Wilhelm Company" in Oakland take care of all my pool table needs. Joe Wilhelm new his s - - t. After they closed I searched high and low for a reputable replacement. Dan Schwarz's name kept coming up. I called to have my 860 Simonis cloth replaced. Dan did an excellent job. More recently, I bought a new home and had Dan and his staff relocate my table to my new home. They dismantled my table and transported it 15 miles away. During the set up I had them install new pocket leathers and new 860 Simonis cloth. The transport and set up all went seamlessly. Dan informed me that my table would settle into the carpet and would most likely need to be re-leveled. He was right. He came back alone and releveled my table. I have found him and his staff to be reliable, dependable, knowledgeable, and professional. Dan is old school. A craftsman. There are not many of these guy's left. Highly recommended.

Installer came to get rails on Friday and scheduled to have them put back on the following Wednesday. He called Monday morning and said they were finished and could bring them out and install them that day. My table was back up and ready for play by 12:30 in the afternoon. It was a warranty claim through pool city and there respond time was very quick and smooth. I would recommend them in the future.

UPDATE: They showed up the morning after I called to finish the incomplete job and did it right. I bumped their rating up to a three star because they fixed their mistakes quickly and without charging me. PREVIOUS: I called them six weeks ago to re-felt and put together a 9ft table I moved from NJ. It took them 3 weeks to come the first time. While I'm at work my wife calls saying they don't think they should finish putting the slate on because they thought the room would be to small to play in and they could easily come back after I came home and looked at to decide if I wanted to move it to another room. I get home to find the table fits in the room just fine, there is only one half of one side that I need to use a short stick if the cue ball is one the rail. When I call to get them back out there to finish they wouldn't come out for another 3 weeks! That was monday and I was out of town. I get home wednesday to find that they did not put a foot or head spot on the table and they left their trash in the room. They couldn't even clean up after themselves! As I'm cleaning up I see a bolt still lying where they had been grouped together. I got under the table to check and (go figure) they left one of the bolts out of the side pocket. I check the other bolt with my fingers and it came out in my hand. It hadn't been tightened at all it was just sitting in the hole! This is now the third time I've had to call them it's been 6 weeks since my first call and my table is still not completed, they only answer the phone 50% of the time and will take days to return a call. As of writing this they haven't returned my call. Maybe I was just an isolated incident but leaving trash in the owners house, re-felting a table but not putting on a foot or head spot, and not bolting on a side pocket seems like some really lazy attitudes.
