I appreciate the intent behind this organization, but I’ve had enough frustrating experiences when trying to donate materials that I’m done with CJ. Communication around larger pickups is dismal, and their website’s page on materials they accept isn’t kept up to date. Today I prepped and transported a supposedly welcome item for donation, only to have the kid at the loading dock tap a recently-scrawled sign saying that they’re temporarily not accepting such items. Such sloppy practices demonstrate serious disrespect for their donors’ time and effort.

They had lots of building materials, but I wasn't overly impressed with their stock. Some items were priced much higher than I anticipated. I did find a door after a long time searching.

I have driven pass this place countless times over the years and had been meaning to stop by but never did. I ended here helping a friend work an event so I didn't really get to explore much but it seemed like a hidden gem from what I did see. I will be back soon

A couple months ago they sold used doors for $25. now they are $40. A brand new one at Home Depot is $50. and you don’t have to scrape 7 layers of paint off it . There prices are so high now it’s almost the same as buying brand new. Sad to see they went from helping low income home owners to selling over priced junk to hipsters

Huge warehouse of used items. Prices are moderately expensive. Good if you live locally.

Great place for used building materials and second hand furniture. They also have lighting fixtures, a large selection of wood, paint, used hardware, toilets, bathtubs and more.

One of the first places we visited when moving to Pittsburgh. Love browsing the variety of selections! Extremely affordable prices too.

I write this post with a heavy heart. I really use to love going here (pre COVID). This was my first visit post COVID, and I'm really disappointed with the prices of reclaimed materials.
I feel like the only reason they are successful is because of their location in an inner city environment. Prices are maybe 10% less than if you bought brand new. Appliances, can buy new for same prices when on sale, and there is a warranty. They have signed everywhere that there are no returns and no guarantees on appliances.
It's more of a FAD store at this point. People are more than willing to pay top dollar to say they bought reclaimed. But the "new" price with guarantees isn't much different.

This place is good for home repair stuff as well as stocking up on needed supplies sometime but I must say the stuff is recyclable things from old properties and stuff and more that can be brought back to life with a touch of motivation

Over priced. These are donated items and definitely not worth what they charge.

I was shocked to see all the things this place has. If, your doing any work on your house and missing a piece or handle or toilet. You can find it here. Lightning plus much more for cheap. Check it out!

Great place to match hardware for older houses.
