So very overpriced for such a dated selection. I support their mission but won't be showing my support with purchases. Items are just too dated and worn for the prices they are asking. Such a shame. $30 for a out dated Zara coat which was probably $79 new ten years ago, and $60 for a Lauren sweater with substantial wear. Unfortunate to say the least. Cute windows but that's basically all. Won't stop again.

This place is beyond words. You can find brand new designer pants for $1. It is so well run by Betsy and the other other women who volunteer to keep this charitable shop open and packed with quality clothing, knickknacks, shoes, gloves, scarves; you name it and it is in the store. I have been shopping here since 2006 and I have saved so much money. One year I found a Burberry Suit for $10. Parking can get a little difficult so I would suggest stopping in on a Saturday. Thank you Ladies for making this place one of my favorite spots to shop.

This is a great charity shop of women's clothing for all ages, handbags, jewelry, shoes, books and a few housewares. Some teen wear, some vintage, some designer, & lots of nice brands. The pricing ran from $2 (lots!) up to about $35-45 for designer wear. Lots of the colored tags were on half-price. I thought the quality was very good - I didn't see any rips, tears or stains - and the proceeds support UPMC Magee Women's hospital research institute. Like any thrift shop you need to take the time to look through racks, but I found several very nice pairs of pants (one premium denim), two sweaters, a $1nice photo frame and a beautiful wool coat that looked brand new - total came to $47!! There are changing rooms for clothing try-on & the ladies working seemed very nice.

I liked "The Clothesline" so much more before Betsy... I still totally recommend this second hand store, it is the nicest around the areas of Bloomfield, Polish Hill, Lawrenceville, East Liberty, Shadyside & Squirrel Hill. Since the inception of Betsy "The Clothesline's" prices are just tooo expensive, they are a second hand, resale shop, I don't think anyone told Betsy other than myself...

Great selection and great prices. When there's a deal on a tag color it's even better!

I found some real gems there! It seems to target a more adult thrifting population, but there's a mix for sure! ... Plus proceeds go to medical research!

Very lovely! Will be back! They have fair prices, a very small store but good selection of very nice condition clothes, bags, and shoes. Very well organized and clearly marked clothes for many different sizes, shoes of many sizes and misc. objects. They put a lot of effort into their seasonal window display, which always makes me smile when I walk past. I also really love that occasionally they have a "free box" outside of decent objects, I have found a few items myself! Great for the Bloomfield community. My only possible recommendation I can think of is that I would like if the misc. objects table was more organized, but that was the only unorganized part of the whole store. The store was also very very clean and the workers were lovely. I will be back :)
