I wanna update my review from before since I am now a grateful CCAC Alumni. I took the court reporting program with Mary Beth Johnson and finished in two years. Now I am a working official court reporter, which is exactly what I wanted. I didn't have a degree before and felt so self-conscious about it. With this associate's degree, I finally feel proud of and genuinely happy with the job I have. I was able to get training precisely in my field and literally had a job already lined up the moment I graduated. I am still in contact with some of my fellow court reporting student peers from CCAC's stenography program. Two of them I literally work with and see every day. Talk about networking that has profound impacts on my daily life. TIP: Make sure for general education or prerequisites that you look up your professors on RateMyProfessor dot com before enrolling. It really help me know what I was getting into and going for teachers that would best fit with my learning needs. $$$: I have NO STUDENT DEBT all because CCAC was wildly affordable, and I got some help from state grants. 90% of the time when I applied for scholarships on CCAC's website, I was awarded them, which really added up. Most people don't apply for them for fear of wasting their time by not being picked. You should definitely capitalize on that! There were certainly ups and downs to getting where I am now, but I am so glad I stuck it out with CCAC. It really paid off.

I remember visiting this school back in 8th grade probably for kids to choose the cheaper and cheap this fucking place was. To start off with it smells like the old recreational center I used to go to when I was a kid. Basically sweat nothing else just sweat. Like middle school boys after PE type sweat. Not to mention half the staff seemed to be missing that I wasn't sure if I was in an abandoned part of the mall where it's built right next to by the way don't know why or if I stumbled into the fucking backrooms. And the fact that with all that I'm not sure it's a community college that claims it's "debt free" which to me already sounds like a trap so it might as well be a money laundering scheme for the mob or some shit. Anyone who's looking for an actual community college stay the fuck away from this one and just fork over the cheap amount of money to an actual community college trust me you'd be doing yourself a favor

Consistently rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. Year after year I call / go in with EASY questions about orders placed and they do not want to hear it.Also, try calling 30-45min before they close…. They will NEVER answer.

My roommate signed up to work with them, went through hours of onboarding, another 90 minute round trip to head up for their start date, they arrive for their first day, and are told by the manager Tammy that on second thought, they would not be hiring them because they didnt have time to train them.Looking through other reviews and their stunning 2.4 star reviews it looks like she isnt great at more things than just time management. Go to any of the other bookstores, I have had lovely experiences at the South Campus bookstore

I was very polite and explained that I wanted to return books. I'm not concerned about getting any money for them at all, I just don't have a use for them because i dropped the class. The woman I assume is the manager was incredibly rude. I will not be going to this book store again if I can avoid it.

This is a very strange institution. I have been taking prerequisites since May at CCAC and must say the majority of the teachers are their not to teach but to sabotage you. First, nobody could be reached at any time. I wrote about 15 emails to the one professor over the whole course to which I must have gotten 3 replies. They give you materials to study but the exams merely cover the content. However, the exams do include questions from future chapters you haven't even heard of yet. I do not understand the small minded mentality on the side of the professors. They should want their students to do good and to learn, not to be put down.

The hours suck and barely benefit the student. Much rather buy online and avoid them altogether.

Terrible place. Dirty buildings. Depressing atmosphere. Good luck getting ahold of a Dean. Nobody can ever give you a straight answer. Spend the money and go to a better quality school.

I had an order that was difficult to fill but Tammy was very helpful in keeping me updated with thr status and her communications with the vendor. She called me every day to let me know what was going on with my order and was very helpful in getting it fulfilled.

I'm beyond upset. After ordering my book a week ago with no confirmation email, I finally got someone on the phone and I was told I have to go to mechanicsburgh, pa just to get the book I need. I am beyond furious. I was never even contacted about the status of my order. I cannot stand this bookstore.

I had to order from the campus bookstore because it participated with my financial aid.During the pandemic, I ordered, with plenty of time before term started, and my order never came in time. I could not reach them by phone, ever, and trying by email was hopeless. Half of my order was suddenly cancelled and reordering them just delayed my order even further. When I went into the store to collect one of the books that became available, the associate was unable to provide me with further information regarding the rest of my order. Not having my textbooks on time, even when I ordered them early, has been frustrating and disheartening.

Charged my account 258$ without warning or contacting me. after they were closed and not open for returns during the pandemic. Have had to call three times regarding a refund now and the manager was rude. Garbage facility, get your books on amazon
