There was $5000 to repair the car after a no fault collision. They towed the car and I was taken to the hospital. Once the insurance called them 48 hours later, they were told that total costs were $1895. $300 for storage, $890 for a 1.9 mile tow. The rest was there extra costs they threw in there to milk it. Needless to say there was less then $3000 left to fix the car after they robbed the coffers. STAY AWAY!!

This auto body repair shop did an excellent job to repair my car. They also were decisive in dealing with insurance issues that involved supplemental costs. In checking with local citizens and other sources of information, I believe this is a reliable small business with an active and involved owner and staff

This place is a joke. Tried to charge my insurance company over 900 for towing my car 4 miles. Then they tried to charge for a “tear down” the only thing removed from my car was the front bumper and that was from the collision.. luckily I had photos and supplied them my adjuster.

Customer service at the business wad awesome. However the driver talk me into getting my car towed the police said I could drive home I was 4 blocks away from home. After the police left The driver told me if I drive it from the scene my insurance won't cover it because it isn't drivable once the air bags deploy. I told my insurance company they said not true and I called the office she said she can't speak on it because she wasn't there. I asked are drivers supposed to talk people into a tow especially after the officer said I could drive.

This was, unfortunately, my second experience this year with C&R. They did an excellent job. The reason it was unfortunate is nobody wants to have two wrecks in 6 months (actually, it was my granddaughter driving in both crashes). Regardless, the work was done quickly and properly. I plan to take any future wrecks to C&R, but I hope I never need to use them again. This is not a boutique shop. No fancy stuff, just excellent work at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately I was involved in an accident where a woman hit me in point breeze. Frank from C&R was on the scene almost immediately assuming he heard it on his radio.Obviously I was stuck in point breeze and he drove me home to Polish Hill. And my car went to the shop. My car was fixed in a timely manor and the staff there was very nice keeping me updated about the progress. I returned a few months later to get new brakes installed, and that took less than a hour. Recently I was stuck with a flat tire in Bloomfield along with my 10 year old son . I had the spare but couldn’t get my lug nuts off to replace the tire. I called C&R and Rick came within 20 minutes to help me put the spare on and took my bad tire to the shop for repair because the air nozzle was the issue of the flat . My son and I ran our intended errands with the spare tire on. And within 1 hour I was at the shop getting a new tire put on my car and the spare taken off! Rick was super helpful, friendly and understanding of the situation, plus super fast and efficient. Claudio the owner is a great guy who hires wonderful people to get the job done right! I definitely will use C&R for all of my auto needs until I can not drive anymore! Thank you all for being a awesome shop and I’m kinda glad that lady hit me because it helped me find a great group of mechanics that I never would have known existed! And we all know that good trustworthy mechanics are hard to find. You got a lifetime customer in me!Services: Brakes

Went there because I thought I had lost the door limiter (aka door break). Really it had just folded up. Re-attached while I watched, refused to even take a tip. I'm fairly sure other places would have charged me a new part and labor and tried to talk me into fixing cosmetic damage of that car as well.

Great garage. I was hit by a lady at Penn/ homewood ave and their tow truck driver was there in 5 mins, which prompted me to go to C&R in the first place, the tow driver was polite and nice drove me home and the ladies insurance covered everything, the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I had custom tire caps on each tire and when I got my car back one was missing on the damaged tire, which sucks cause now I got to buy a whole new set, and I didn't notice it until I was home.

We were in a really bad accident, head on collision. I just got my car back, and it looks beautiful. These guys did a fantastic job, they even cleaned the interior and exterior.Can’t recommend them enough

These guys are GREAT! I called several other towing companies with no response. They answered immediately and dispatched two very kind and professional gentlemen within 30 minutes. They were kind enough to try jumping my car prior to towing to save the cost of the tow and took the time to show me how to get the best connection when jumping a car.Aside from being generally wonderful humans, they were fast, efficient, and friendly. They got my car to my mechanic without incident and charged an extremely reasonable price. They were kind enough to accept the cash I had on hand even though I was a little short.Though I hope I do not need to use their services again, I sincerely hope you choose to go with these guys when you're in need of a tow!
