Visited the Build a Bear for the first time as part of our child's 2nd birthday fun day. We enjoyed the employee interacting with our kids to fill the bear up and had fun picking out a cute outfit for the birthday bear. The pay your age program is really great and plan on doing it with all three of of children. It was a great experience our daughter loved.

My daughter and friend were told they had to rename their animals because of the name policy. There is no such thing as a name policy, If so show me! Are you just picking on teens where they go the mall alone? There was nothing wrong with the names.Employees should have no opinion about that kids want to name a stuffed animal, it’s none of their business.

Me and my friend went in to get Kuromi dolls, and I named mine Jamiroquaia, named after the band Jamiroquai. They told me I had to change the name on mine because it went against their policy and its not family friendly. Hello??

My daughter and I went so she can spend her gift cards, the staff were great, they helped her pick out a bear, she picked a heart for her bear, of course they had her warm the heart by rubbing her hands together and stuff the bear, it was a great experience for her, she loved to shop around for clothes for her bear named Lily ❤️

My son never fails to have such an amazing time everytime we go here!! He absolutely loves this place!! Adding extras can make things a little pricey but it's worth it to see how happy your child will be. At the same time any of the extra stuff is really not needed!!

Extremely disgusted. First my original account is just nowhere to be found, it never existed. Even though I have a confirmation email and the original member ID #. Next The product i want can not be picked up at the only 3 stores that are within 10 miles of my address. NO I now have to pay extra for shipping. Then it doesn't drop into the cart properly and an associate code get placed so i do not get 30% of the now additional shipping. Then it can not be canceled I know have to wait for it to arrive and return it to receive my money back!!! After waiting on hold twice for a total of 2hours and 8 minutes of my time!!!!!!!

Never have I EVER had an employee treat me as rudely as 2 of those working today. A friend and I went to get mint axolotls, and there were none left in the front. We asked an employee at the counter if they had any in the back and they just responded "no". A few minutes later I decided to ask another employee, who came off much kinder- he checked the back and they actually had MANY mint axolotls The first employee and a third were the ones to help us stuff the animals and were very obviously talking about us right in front of us. They ignored our attempts to make conversations. Then, my stuffed animal was not filled properly, it was very underfilled- I didn't notice until I already left the store. Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience and I think others should be warned!
