I am not a big hair and makeup person, so I wasn’t too stressed when it came to this decision in my wedding planning process. I saw the positive reviews on The Knot and decided to check out Brooke Rockwell Hair Design! Brooke and Harbor are super talented, nice, and efficient. They were great listeners when it came to giving me what I imagined for my hair on my wedding day and they delivered! Same for my mom and my bridesmaids. I would strongly recommend booking them for your wedding day and for your personal hair services too! ;)

So happy!! Harbor gave me a terrific haircut! I think it is my favorite haircut ever! (I am several weeks into it, and like it as much today as when I first got it). Harbor is very skilled- and first and foremost, she listens. We really talked first about what I wanted, and whether or not it would work. It was a major chop! She completely understood what I wanted and gave me a cut that suits me and my lifestyle. So pleased!

Booked an appointment for half highlights and a cut, pretty basic. Didn’t ask for anything crazy, just some highlights, a little bit lighter than my natural hair and a blunt cut. Didn’t give a reference photo because I thought this was such a basic ask. What I got was a whole head of uneven 1 to 2 inch streaks. There was no in and out pattern with the comb tip, just sections slapped with some bleach. This left uneven solid chunks of blonde in my hair which is more noticeable with my hair up. My only saving grace was she did not do the top section of my hair so if my hair is down, it’s ok. EXCEPT… my face framing pieces. That was the biggest disaster. Both pieces on either side of my face were cut in a straight line, no tapering. The bleach on these pieces was the moment I realized how bad it really was. Blunt line of beach, spots, everything you can imagine. The process of her trying to fix this is where I wanted to cry and walk out. She put brown hair dye on the bleach to try to fix it, but again, it was slapped on dye. Instead of washing the dye out, she used a spay bottle and rag to get it out. I literally had to go to the bathroom and rinse it out myself. I immediately paid and left. This is a warning, choose your stylist wisely.

My son got married and I hired Brooke and her sister to do my families hair. We were from out of town and they came to our hotel. They were Amazing. My bubble braid was perfect, I loved it so much. They made me feel beautiful as the Mother of The Groom. Thank you ladies.
