She navigated the appointment beautifully--she listened to what I wanted and pointed me in the right direction, while also empowering me to look and choose for myself. “EDIT: I am updating my review from one to five stars. I received a call from Peytia regarding my dress. She was very eager to help me solve my issues which I greatly appreciated. She went through ordering another dress in the size 2 and it arrived a couple of days later. It was only two days before the wedding and David’s Bridal couldn’t perform the alterations the second time around. I did have to go somewhere else to have it altered but once I found someone to do it, it ended up working out fine due to the fact that Peytia refunded me for the original alterations. I feel like I would definitely go back to David’s Bridal now. They went above and beyond (even though we all sign the disclaimers) to make this particular wedding day an awesome one and leave me satisfied. Thank you Peytia and David’s Bridal Robinson!
Alterations Department: Horrible unless you’re only having hem done. I’m in three weddings this summer/fall and the first one was using David’s Bridal so this is where my dress was purchased. The dress itself is a nice dress and the size 2 in-store fit perfectly, however they didn’t have any 2s in stock so I had to order a 4 which took a while to receive at the store (should you decide to purchase from here just order online and have it sent to your home) and of course had to be altered. The sleeves were taken up, the zipper taken in and a modesty piece placed. These alterations were $200. The dress fits horribly in the top. The dress is sewn crooked in the back so the empire waist doesn’t line up right. The chest now puckers all the way up to the sleeve. The modesty piece is sewn in crooked as well leaving it on a slant. Combining all of this, you can just imagine what the dress looks like on. When I brought this up in store the issues were minimized and I was told how good it looked. I have now got second opinions and they all say the dress doesn’t fit well, so it’s not in my imagination. We have tried everything to make it look better to no avail. I’m hoping that I might be able to find the same color dress off the rack at her local (out of state for me) David’s that I could just have hemmed at a dry cleaners. This has just been a big loss in time and money. Based on this, I’d never recommend them to anyone and I might even be deterred from participating in future weddings that may be using them. Sorry but this one’s a no for me.”

She was warm and friendly to me and my party, showed us to a Lillian West rack that perfectly matched my inspiration pictures AND budget, and allowed us to pull about 5 dresses to start. Rachel pulled a few dresses for me throughout the appointment as well based on my preferences as I began trying on dresses. She was swift in helping me zip and adjust in the dressing room, and beautifully fluffed the dresses for me and my party to see the full potential of each dress. “I had a fantastic experience at BHLDN. I had a very tight turnaround time for a dress, and Danielle made the process as painless as possible for me. She was checking stock as I was browsing the racks to let me know what I could or couldn’t get on time. She never made me feel pressured, but was encouraging during all the try ons. When I found one that I liked and she took my measurements, I was hesitant about the size she suggested I order. I ordered it anyway and Danielle was kind enough to upgrade the shipping time for me so I’d have the dress within enough time for my event. In the meantime, I called later in the day with a question about a sample I had tried on. Emma answered the phone. I don’t remember interacting with Emma while I was there, but she knew who I was immediately and could answer my question on the spot which I greatly appreciate. Dress arrived within 2 days, and I took it straight to my alterations person for a try on. To my surprise, Danielle was 110% accurate with her size suggestion and all the dress needed was a hem. I am very grateful to her and the BHLDN team for making this choice one of the easiest I’ve had during this process.”

“The service was top notch. I had my suit altered. The two employees took the time to insure the fit was correct by measuring and pinning my suit. The price was fantastic. I thought I would have to buy a new suit because it was so big on me. They had my suit ready in two days. Give them a try you will be very satisfied.”
