The guided tours, which are by appointment only, are led by knowledgeable, entertaining, fun, witty, animated, and passionate guides who are great storytellers, making the history fun and engaging. The tour covers the fascinating history of the house and its eccentric, interesting creator. The views out the back over the Allegheny River are outstanding and stunning. Considered a must-see and more than worth it, the experience is highly recommended for a unique, historic, and inspiring visit.
