North Star!!Cameron, the Leasing Consultant at Bakery Living, should win an award for her stellar customer service! The way she supported our family during our application to Bakery Living was nothing short of legendary!!!!!!! As a former product owner in the national product development space for a major grocery chain, I have a special appreciation for the importance of working efficiently under tight deadlines and doing so with the needs of the customer in mind. Staying focused on quality work standards, while remaining compassionate to the customer’s perspective, is not always easy— but Cameron has done this seamlessly! Throughout our application processes, Cameron provided quick answers to our questions, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and always made us feel she had our best interest top of mind! She provided an OUTSTANDING customer service experience, and we look forward to partnering with her in the future. It’s Leasing Consultants like Cameron who significantly elevate the rental industry (especially from the customer’s perspective)!! Big kudos to Cameron and thank you, Bakery Living, for assigning her as our consultant. She was our NORTH STAR!!!!

Bakery Living is the nicest apartment building in Pittsburgh. The gym is better than local gyms and is included with rent. Have friends over to play ping pong, pool, or relax in the courtyard. Bike storage makes bike commuting from here that much easier. The building is a stone’s throw from Trader Joe’s and various restaurants and bars. We’re on a top floor and have no noise complaints. There are events and free food for residents constantly. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Pretty good apartment. The leasing staff is extremely nice and responsive. When you have a problem, they see it through and ensure that you get it solved. The maintenance staff is great as well. However, this place has 2 glaring problems:1. The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbor flush their toilet.2. The rent is extremely high. It's nice, but it's not $2400 for a one bedroom nice.

You get what u pay for.Fast maintenance response (although u dont need much), clean place.Need groceries? You are close to 3 shops.Wouldnt think of moving out if the price isnt up [ as i said, u get what u pay fore and i dont think u will find better for this price].Edit: from 5 stars to 3 stars. You will get hit by alot of fees along the way. You lost parking permit? Pay 50$ (for a paper covered in plast worth of 50 cents). You want ur moving out check? Pay 50$ for a mistake YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OF !you will get something along the lines of "oh sorry i didnt know about this fee" and YOU HAVE TO PAY IT

I have been a long time tenant and things started out well. But management became greedy and even callous to the needs of the tenants. They look for any reason to generate more money from you while spending less on amenities.

The apartment complex is fantastic, we have events a few times a month, great staff and friendly. Love the all year round pool. Best thing of it all is being close Mellon park and the bakery square shops and the galley. Just an overall great community to live in.

I'm moving to Pittsburgh in a few months so I flew into town for 72 hours to apartment hunt. I called them about three days before I flew in and they were has no times available for me to tour. I asked if they could just make 15 minutes so I could see it - since it was the top of my list - and was told no. I really begged if there was anything we could work out in the three business days I was in town but they wouldn't budge. So beware, they clearly don't feel they need your business so they wont lift a finger to accommodate you. Every other building I looked at (about 12) both near bakery square and the strip district was incredibly nice and accommodating. Bakery living is the only place that wouldn't let me visit.Rent is expensive, better to go to a place where your business is wanted!
