Annex curates fine coffee and a peaceful space in a disorderly, chaotic world.

Great coffee and friendly staff, but I’m giving it one star because the location and seating make it hard to enjoy. The area feels a bit sketchy which can make it uncomfortable to stay for long. The seating also isn’t ideal for anyone looking to sit and focus on work or study for a while. If it were in a safer area with a more comfortable setup, this would definitely be a favorite spot.

Great new place in Pittsburgh! I stopped by for a coffee before my Sunday motorcycle ride and had an excellent time there. Both Jason and Lauren were very welcoming, the t-shirt I bought from them was great, and the coffee was excellent. I loved the ambiance as the space was inviting, open and nicely designed.

Beautiful space and awesome people!!! Both specialty coffee and retail focused. A great visit or place to come hang while picking up a few must have home items! Attention to detail and curation of items was top notch. A must stop if in Pittsburgh, especially if a petrol head or creative!

Espresso, some cool cafe bikes and rad threads….nothing to complain about here. Awesome spot to stop in and grab a coffee before your next ride or pick up a new trucker hat for the collection.

Lovely space & delicious cappuccino! So happy to see the motorcycle/coffee mix in Pittsburgh. They even have some Jane Motorcycles merch!

I had an amazing latte here this morning and I cannot wait to go back. They take great care in crafting your beverage and their prices are reasonable, especially given the quality.

Annex PGH is a staple in the Deutschtown neighborhood of the Northside. Love stopping for cappuccino, coffee, comfortable/stylish clothing, great smelling candles and home decor. Owners are fantastic people and it's great neighborhood gathering space that is welcoming and has fun events throughout the year. My dog Farmer loves to be able to sit on the outdoor sidewalk tables and people watch. Highly recommend!

Motorcycle apparel and coffee! Exactly what Pittsburgh needs. The owners are the best!

Can't speak highly enough of Annex!! Coffee is AMAZING (they brew Commonplace Coffee which is exceptional) and the selection of clothing and gifts is great. They have jewelry, clothing, candles, etc. Jason and Lauren (owners) are so welcoming and have such a great space to gather/ shop small. Not pictured, tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee or work remotely. It's within walking distance of the restaurants on East Ohio Street, so great way to kick off a night out (helloooo espresso). Highly recommend!!!!

My wife and I kept hearing about Annex PGH through friends and decided to check it out. I usually get a little nervous about entering cool little boutiques because I am nervous I will not see anything I like and have to awkwardly make conversation and leave without buying anything. I must say, this boutique is different! Both Lauren and Jason (the owners) are so welcoming and kind, they make you feel like old friends. Walking in was like a breath of fresh air, it is bright and decorated very well. The clothing is fashionable and comfortable and they sell many different items that my wife said she has not been able to find outside of NYC. I bought a pack made by a company from Colorado (Topo Designs) and get compliments on it all the time. I also bought an Annex PGH t-shirt that is my absolute favorite. It is so comfortable that I wish I would have bought two. Since our first visit, my wife has returned many times and loves the style of clothing she finds there. On her last visit, she bought a jean jacket and very comfortable top, she has worn both several times since getting them so she must like them :) Honestly, even if you don't want to buy anything, just going in to meet Lauren and Jason is worth it. They are very knowledgeable about the city and will recommend a good place to eat or a cool place to get a drink. They also support the local community which is very cool. While I was in there, I overheard them recommend a different shop to a customer that was unable to find what she was looking for in theirs. Supporting people like that makes the whole city a better place. Go check out Annex PGH, it is a true Pittsburgh gem!
