Oh my GOD this store needs to take their hourly rate and TRIPLE IT. I spent nearly 5 hours in that mall yesterday looking for a dress to wear to my dad’s wedding. And towards the end of that, I went in here nearly defeated when employee, Maggie, listened to my woes, and hand picked 9 different dresses for me to try on and by god we found one. I hate shopping so much but her efforts turned my day completely around and made the whole thing worth it. Seriously, Maggie is a true fairy godmother and I cannot thank her enough for the amount of help she was to me. Best shopping experience in my entire LIFE. (Not to mention the dressing rooms are absolutely dreamy)

I typically love altard state! I usually go to the beachwood store as it’s more convenient for me, but I was in PGH & figured i’d take a look at this one! I was there on Monday, 4/25, with a friend of mine just kindve browsing the store. I didn’t see anything that really caught my eye on the main floor so I headed on over to the sale to see if there was anything i like. My friend found a cute claw clip & handed it to me. I said i’d think about it & continued browsing. I decided I didn’t want it, & put it back on the sale accessories rack. None of us purchased anything so we were on our way out of the store when an associate practically chased me down. Here’s how the conversation went. Associate: We’re you ladies going to buy that clip you have? *Was 2 feet away from my face thinking she was gonna catch someone shoplifting* Me: No, that’s why I put it back. Associate: It’s in your hand? Me: It’s on the rack right over there where I put it at. Associate: Oh, where??? *obviously doesn’t believe me with her tone of voice** me: Yep, it’s right over there shows her* Associate: Can you show me where you left it? Me: *points* & then she scoffed & said “okay then” I typically wouldn’t care about things like this, but she embarrassed me infront of the whole store without even using common sense to look & see if I still had it. I don’t remember her name but she was older & was wearing overalls & pigtails. Altard State Ross Park Mall, you’ve lost my business. Do better.

I really like Altar'd State. The clothes are all really unique and the staff is always very helpful. However, it can be more expensive. They also have a prayer book that you can write in, well waiting for the changing rooms, which I think is really nice! The vibe is very calming and peaceful, which is very nice! I highly recommend this store!

Love love love Altard State! Their clothes, their mission, everything. And most of their stuff is so flattering and in style! You can always find good deals in their clearance room in the back too!

Believe it or not my family is all boys. We go here for the Christmas srlections and ornaments selection was really bad this year. Fix that please. But your staff is always amazing and nice.
