I recently took my dog to your facility to get her nails trimmed. I was just there a month prior for her yearly checkup. I was told I would need to bring her back, because she just had her shots and it may be too much for her at this time. I had to make an appointment with the vet tech. It costs me $20 for the tech appointment and $25 for the nail trim. On top of that I paid $18 for 6 pills to calm her down. Honestly, I really didn’t see much difference in her behavior. It costs me $63 total for a nail trim. Insane!!! In other words. If they would have just trimmed them at the vet’s appointment it would have costs $25, which has been done before. Never again!

Extremely long waits. Excessively high prices. Very unfriendly at times. Not a clean/hygienic facility.

I would never recommend taking your pet to this vet. They almost never answer the phone(rely heavily on texting, which is confusing and frustrating), had a mixup with my pet's records on several occasions, read my pet's results incorrectly when first explaining to me, and failed to send me her records in a timely and correct manor. They are very kind, but they have been difficult to work with from day one. I do not trust them to take care of my dog and will be finding a new vet immediately.

We are new to Allegheny North Vet and couldn't be happier. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Lisa for the wonderful care you gave our sweet girl Maisy. She had many health issues and I really appreciate the extra phone calls, detailed information but most of all the care and compassion you showed us and our girl. You all are a wonderful team of people!

This team is absolutely incredible. I just moved a little closer to the city with my cats and was looking for a new vet. I took my kitten to see them for the first time on Monday. The appointment was flawless, a great exam, Dr. Lisa and the tech were very patient with all of my concerned questions. They gave him his last round of kitten shots, and ran the FIV/FELV test. When it came back positive Dr. Lisa answered all of my immediate questions. The amazing, and phenomenal part is in the days following. She has very patiently answered all of my questions. Gone over all of my options with me, tirelessly made calls to labs, companies, other vets, research teams etc all while managing her normal (very packed) schedule. I have never encountered a team so kind, empathetic, flexible and understanding as this one. They will love your pets as much as you do. You cannot find a better vet.

Dr Natalie is amazing. My little girl Nala had a growth and she removed it and it healed amazing. Staff in general are all amazing. Highly recommend them. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.
