This location of Allegheny Health network is located on the 2nd floor of the Cool Springs Sports complex. There are limited medical services available here but they also offer physical therapy. Upon entering the complex there is an elevator to your left which will take you to the 2nd floor. On this particular visit I was scheduled to meet with my orthopedic surgeon for a re eval on a leg muscle injury I suffered back in Feb. The space is set up for social distancing. Masks are required when entering the complex. One of the nice things at this facility is that you do not have to wait in your car to be called in and be seen. You are asked to come within a 5 minute window of your appt time and they will get you checked in and set up. When I arrived there were very few people there and it didn't take long to be seen. Copayments that are due at time of visit can no longer be done by cash. Cards only are accepted. They do ask you the typical Co-Vid 19 questions before they let you in. One positive answer will disqualify you from your scheduled appt. After checking in I was taken back to the exam room by a nurse wearing a mask. I noticed that they lay fresh paper on the exam table once you walk in. She reviewed my medical history and then I had the usual wait for the physician. He came in, did the exam, gave me the necessary script I needed for ongoing physical therapy and was finished. Photos are not permitted due to HIPAA regulations. I was pleased with my visit since I have worked with this orthopedic surgeon in the past. Free parking is available outside and a certain number of spots near the front are for handicapped individuals.
