I loved working with Alex for my wedding florals! He came highly recommended by my matron of honor, who has worked with him before, and he did not disappoint. I provided Alex a Pinterest board as well as some more general inspiration — like what the groom’s tie looked like, my matron of honor’s dress, etc. — and he executed the vision perfectly! My and my MOH’s bouquets looked related by not identical, which I love, and his centerpieces really brought our reception space to life. (He also did the centerpieces for my bridal shower, and they were just as beautiful.)
In addition to his floral expertise, Alex was kind and attentive through the process, and worked with both my mother and my MOH when I was too overwhelmed with other aspects of planning. He also arranged to drop my and my MOH’s bouquets off separately from the day-of delivery to the venue so I was able to have photos taken when I was getting ready. I also deeply appreciated his honesty — I was thinking of getting baby’s breath for our ceremony space and he said he could do it but that for the price versus the time spent in the space, he wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, even though that meant less $$ for him. All in all, highly recommend Alex and his services for wedding flowers and beyond!

Since moving to Pittsburgh, Alex and his team have created countless floral arrangements for personal and professional gatherings hosted in my home – and they’ve done so with a level of service that is second to none! Neighbors are constantly commenting on how beautiful the arrangements are that they see through my windows. I’m beyond grateful for the quality, care and attention that Alex and his team provide – it’s why I keep going back to them!

Worst florist ever totally disappointed l, ordered flowers for my wedding, flowers were wilted, didn't last thru the evening, couldnt toss the bouquet flowers were falling off, stems to long not safe to be tossed, brides flowers were falling apart, center pieces awful extremely poor quality, flowers wilted, not what was discussed, flowers seemed old, worst experience ever, embarrassed to have those flowers displayed, wrist corsage for moms flowers were so small looks as if they were meant for a small child, groomsmen boutonnière same way small and awful, didn’t receive the flowers that were discussed, repeatedly stated no greenery, centerpieces filled with greenery, a local grocery store would have done a better job, would not recommend this florist for a wedding, beyond disappointed, owner refused to provide a refund and was notified the day after the wedding, also owner was very difficult to get in touch with, late with flowers on the wedding day, the coordinator could not reach anyone from the shop, awful experience no bride should experience this, Alex is only about taking your money and providing poor quality flowers, if I could give zero stars I would

This past weekend, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid, and I was blown away by the stunning floral arrangements from Alex’s. From our beautiful bouquets to the elegant table arrangements, every detail was perfect. I would highly recommend this florist to any future brides looking for breathtaking floral designs.

My sister’s wedding was over the weekend. We used Alex for flowers. From my sister’s bridal bouquet to the bridesmaids to pomanders to the table arrangements, we were blown away.
The flowers were elegant and refreshing, he listened to exactly what my sister wanted.
I was approached by a few guests throughout the evening who raved about the flowers.
Alex was punctual and great to do business with. The flowers were ethereal, I couldn’t recommend him more!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding this past weekend and am absolutely blown away by Alex’s and the floral arrangements. Bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were thoughtfully arranged and photographed beautifully. Centerpieces were stunning as well. Would 100% recommend to any bride!!

Sons wedding was over the weekend and am very disappointed with this florist. First off he was late getting to the church. Several boutonnieres broke leaving the groomsmen with nothing but baby's breath and a straight pin in their lapel. Nothing was marked especially the wrist corsages leaving grandmother's without and other people with them that they they weren't for. Amateur operation. Not recommended for a wedding.

What a special anniversary gift! I had peonies in my wedding bouquet and this reminded me of my special day. The bouquet is STUNNING and the peonies were everything I could have wanted. We will definitely RUN to Alex’s East End Floral Shoppe for all our occasions from now on!!

Alex worked with my partner to craft a surprise bouquet full of my favorite flowers- my partner is no expert on flowers so Alex provided wonderful advice. I adore the arrangement
As a side note, these flowers lasted FOREVER and were surprisingly durable. A few days after receiving these I had to go on a work trip, so I covered in a garbage bag and just strapped them into the passengers seat. They survived really well, even after I had to switch hotels.

I suffered a great personal loss immediately before Mother’s Day and my brother, who lives halfway across the country, searched desperately to find a Pittsburgh florist who would agree to prepare and deliver a bouquet on a 24-hour turnaround. He was lucky enough to find this shop, and the owner didn’t disappoint. He prepared the most beautiful bouquet for me for Mother’s Day that actually made me crack a smile on a day marked by intense grief. Thank you for going the extra mile for my brother and I, Alex! I’ll never forget how these flowers helped me today and will give you my business for every future occasion where I need florals. You’re a gem!

I discovered Alex after moving from Pittsburgh to Oregon two years ago and every time I need to send my mom flowers, I call his shop and they do an amazing job! I have never been disappointed in their work and they are super efficient/easy to work with. 10/10 would highly recommend!
