The prices are great and the customer service is amazing. Amanda and Elsie go above and beyond to be helpful and accomodating. My 4 year daughter loves going there because they both remember her name and always make it a point to talk to her. I love the size of the store, it has everything but isn't overwhelmingly huge and they ring your order in record time.

I was disgusted with the rudeness of the checkout clerk whose name was Debbie. I watched her tossing the items into an elderly person's cart as if they were bricks, not caring about damage to the items. Then when I submitted my $4.00 item for return, she rudely remarked that I am always returning something, even though I purchase approximately $100 worth of items weekly between 3 Aldi's stores in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. I had not been in the Etna Shaler Plaza store in over 4 months, however she found it necessary to be rude, loud and obnoxious declaring that I return too many items, even though I always have my receipt for the returned item and the reason for the return.
I can assure Aldi's that I will continue shopping at other locations, but I will NEVER do business at the Etna Shaler Plaza again.

Really like the self checkout get allot of stuff for free which helps in this hard economy 3-4 hundred dollars worth of food for around 2-250 if you only scan every other item

I was hoping that this Aldi had the Yogurt that I bought in Bridgeville. Fail. Almost all the Yogurt here is Greek, which is not what I'm looking for. I was able to make di, and there were lots of other items that I needed to buy The produce here is consistently good. So is the butcher shop. I had some problems with the self-checkout, but a clerk came over to quickly resolve it. Getting out of the parking lot and back on Route 8 can be tricky, but with a little patience and the kindness of other drivers, it finally worked it's something to consider when shopping here.

This Aldi is better than it used to be, but the last time I went they were out of 80 percent of their produce. I used to go there once or twice a week and once a month the police would be there arresting someone. They have remodeled and it's nicer but I still only go to this one if I need one or two things even though it's the closest to me.

I used to really like this store but lately it has become extremely crowded and parking is a nightmare! The store is always out of stock for basic items like tonight there were not hot dog buns. I have found that the staff are not very eager to assist. The also will run you down with their broom when it is nearing the closing hour. It is disappointing to see this particular location of Aldi start to go downhill. I do appreciate that the prices are not bad for a budget shopper. There is usually just one register with an actual checkout person. There are many self checkout stations.
