They put profit over pet every day of the week. I call them the 5 for 5 vet. 5 min for $500. During covid after they come out to the car to get my pet, I would receive a call within 5 minutes to tell me they need everything under the sun and would be roughly $500. Nothing but a bunch of bonus hunters. Don’t call them on a weekend for help if your pet is in pain but is due for their annual visit because they won’t do anything until you come in. They will tell you to go spend hundreds on emergency vet somewhere else then take hundreds once you come in for your appointment. Total scam. Switching bets ASAFP

We have been seeing Dr. Shreiber for a few years now and we've always had outstanding care -- but we had an emergency visit this week that exceeded even our regular expectations. My dog needed stitches in her head (a terrifying moment as a dog parent) and everyone on the staff worked with us to get her in asap and taken care of - from the front desk, to the vet staff, to Dr. Shreiber himself - our pup was treated quickly and compassionately. And they also managed our emotions with the scary situation! I am very grateful for Valley Vet :)

Honestly, they could do much better training for their staff. I don't recommend boarding your pet there if your pet needs medications -because they will likely be administered by an untrained or undertrained and overwhelmed kennel associate from the boarding/daycare department. Front desk staff is not trained adequately and they are frequently overwhelmed because there is no limit to the number of animals that can be checked in on any given day. They don't have enough staff and it's not fair to blame the employees. I've asked for them to send me the records for my dog who was being kept there before I adopted her and they haven't gotten around to that in the last t ten months that I've had her.

Our dog, though great at home, is not happy at the vet. He's anxious and we usually have to muzzle him for safety. When he was hurt last week after a fall on a hike, he was also in pain compounding his anxiety. Valley Vet was absolutely amazing. Both he doctor and the tech were patient and calm so were able to do a thorough examination. They have followed up with us several times at home to be sure he is progressing. I can't recommend them enough!

Our puppy (then 7 months) was a patient/daycare member at Valley Vet. He was passed off twice. A new young doctor said that he didn’t want to “gaslight” us, but our dog was completely fine (only doing a visual exam), ALLOWING our dog to continue doggie daycare. We were completely convinced that we were overreacting and that his hacking and sleeping all day was normal for a puppy. After that, we decided to get a second opinion who IMMEDIATELY diagnosed him with kennel cough (barely even having to complete a physical exam), and five days later we rushed our puppy to the ER where we were told his two plus weeks of untreated kennel cough turned into viral pneumonia and aspiration pneumonia. The careless, selfish, business-centric veterinary office cared more about the running of their doggie day care, than diagnosing and treating our puppy for kennel cough, and protecting all of the other animals on site.****I do not see that horrible vet on the website anymore, so maybe they fired him. Good riddance.

Took my sulcata tortoise here for an emergency and they were very accommodating for short notice. Saved my baby!

I have brought our animals to Valley Vet for years and the vet care is excellent. In the past few years, (with the new building) I've boarded my dog - again, excellent. Recently, I've been taking him to be groomed there - again, excellent.

Got to be honest, for the amount of money I’ve had to pay for my dog’s allergies in three visits, when we have a question about a change in condition, we should get a call back. It’s seems we only get a call back when we need to schedule an appointment. Not to mention every time I call and leave a message, my fiancé gets called back and not myself. Vets are great but office and staff could be a little more attentive.

They Were so nice! Emma went above and beyond to get me in and get my Dog seen and I will forever be grateful for that! But the team in general was helpful and my dog felt so proud of her self once she was able to stand up and was sound asleep after she was relived of all the pain she was having all day!

Simply the best. They even provided a towel since it was raining.
